Question about Bnet detection and best practices

Hello,

I am not as well versed as many at botting. My question revolves around botting a separate wow account on the same Bnet account. If I am running a bot on a bnet account would all accounts then be banned if I am caught? If so what is the best way to set this up and not get caught. Making a new account and not having it send mats to my main account? Please let me know. :)

Thank you in advance,
Ex

Can't say for sure, I did notice in the last wave only the account that was botting got suspended, the others did not. To be fair though, they are inactive. Anecdotal, but from what I've read, they only suspend the accounts that were active at the time of the detection. So if you don't bot while you play your main, your main MIGHT not be suspended if your bot account does get hit.

blizzard can ban any account they think was getting help from the bot even if you never botted on it. if they detect the bot running and both accounts are on.. even though you dont have a bot on your main account they will ban both. then they scan they cant tell what account is botting just that there is a bot so they ban everything .

if your account if off line when they detect the bot you less likely to get banned

i think the best way to do it is.... do not bot on the same computer as your main account
