Question about All the bans

6 months ago I would farm 24/7 for 5 months straight with GB2 using a whiptail profile and not 1 ban. I used a grinding profile and after a day I was banned. I know I heard a couple posts about a new tripwire that blizz might have and was wondering if there have been a lot of GB2 bans or if it's mainly just grinding right now?

it's generally grinding - unless it's rep stuff, you get a ban

This is correct. Because of my looting problem in EPL I switched to a grind profile, within 30 min i was banned. This was the second time too on the same account but different toons. I mean I used the questing profile for 5 straight days with 4 hours breaks in between and 30 min after the grind profile. Poof. Email with a ban. This last one was a perma ban but I got it reversed.

Prior to your ban, were you being whispered by players and reported? Did you babysit at all before going AFK?

Only whispers I got were the stupid ones that try to trick you into going to a website and enter your login info and people asking me to join their guild. No reports saying "you botter I am reporting you" or anything like that.

Yea last night I went to the bar and left my bot grinding for disgusting oozling pet, it botted for about 3 hrs before he got DCed. Replied to there email saying that I must have got hacked (even tho I have an authenticator) and got my account back.

This is not the reason you were banned. Blizzard does not ban you if you grind for 30 minutes. You were banned because you were questing for 5 straight days!

Now that is just unwise.

Maybe its just bad luck?
I leveled 6 characters by only grinding to 80 and 1 to 85. I grinded a warrior to 85 last and this week and had no problem botting 8 hours a day. Maybe its coz my acc is really old and i also play BGs and stuff on it i don't know but I never get caught :/

I quested for 3-4 hours at a time and then logged out 4 hours and sometimes overnight if I forgot to start it. I used the exit timer plugin to prevent extended hours of questing.
