Questing & Random Stopping

Long time user, first time poster

I've recently started using Kick's profiles to level a warrior. Even since before the 5.1 patch, the bot would just stop what it was doing and leave me standing there till I DC'd. The actual honorbuddy program would continue running, but the bot would do nothing. Sometimes it would stop while looting a mob, other times while trying to turn in a quest.

I managed to catch it in the act this time around.

I was playing a level 63 horde Warrior in Zangarmarsh. I was collecting mushroom samples for the quest "Familliar Fungi" while killing ogres. All was going well (5 out of 15 collected) and then the bot just stopped. It killed the ogre and just stood there without even attempting to loot.

After making sure it had stopped responding (waiting a few minutes), I stopped the bot and grabbed the log.

I was wondering if you guys could see what was going wrong.

It looks like you were downloading meshes (for over 2 mins) when you stopped the bot. This usually happens when new mesh files have been updated on the BosslandGmbH servers, and the profile calls for a path to a distant area (say you need to go from Stormwind to the Dark Portal).

I see you had just killed an Ango'rosh Shaman when it decided that the meshes needed to be updated. Since its downloading the meshes and immediately loading them into memory, it looks like they are needed for some next step required by the profile (i.e, it doesn't look like an HB bug).

If it does this again, and you let it finish, you should be good. Mesh updates happen from time to time, and those 'long paths' that need to be calculated can cause this to happen. Indeed you're right, the bot does stop (and I don't think it won't even defend itself) while mesh updates are in process.
