Installation​
  • Create a 'Questing' folder in your 'Profiles' directory.
  • Checkout the SVN to the 'Questing' folder. [See : How to : Checkout an SVN]

These profiles are NOT AFK. Do not attempt to run them when not at the computer. Consider stopping the bot when 'bot like' behavior occurs.​

Known Issues​
  • Only selects Heavy Armor for quest rewards.
  • Actor.IsQuestKill and Actor.IsQuestTarget always return false?

Fixes in Progress​
  • HandInQuest - Variant tag with support for selecting appropriate gear for class/role.


Find a bug?​
  • A complete log is typically the easiest way to report it, as it should tell me everything I need to know.
  • If there are stuck and pathing issues, please post a simple description of the stuck spot (coordinates are helpful!) along with the log!

So far so good generally. Leveling a Warrior Soldier at the moment.
Couple things:
I'm assuming the navigation issues are due to no true mesh system working?
Can custom combat rotations be used in conjunction with questing profiles? It seems as if only the default or debug rotations can be used.
If an NPC is in the air / above ground level of the bot, it has a hard time determining that and just starts attacking anyway. This happened with the Crowe quest at around level 10. I'll get the specific quest name if I can find a log.

As you stated to me earlier, this will likely only get me up to level 14. I'll start an engineer to try it from level 1 once the warrior hits 14.

We have true mesh, and while it covers most of the game worlds, there are some iffy locations for sure.

Of course! The API allows anyone to make their own CRs as long as they are fluent with C# and implementing interfaces. :)

I know well which quest you speak of, I've attempted to mitigate the damage by blocking the actual flying ones, but the cliff-side ones are still an issue that need work. :(

You are doing a pretty nice job man, profiles working like a charm, hope you continue on that mate!

Appreciated! If profile updates slow down, it's likely because I have shifted my focus to QuestHelper or Agility, but they are still progressing! :)
 
Yea Arkship worked a treat.... then just stalls or runs to a fixed point at Northern Wilds or Ever-star Grove. Shame there isn't a bigger team to support you with this game.

Did abit of tweaking on the old notepad and got it going.

Could you provide a log/details so I can fix it for additional users as well? :)
 
I have no idea how to log, although your questiing profile did take me straight to 15 im having a nightmare setting up a Grinding Profile. Its just crashing the bot...

Any Ideas?

Unfortunately I can't really support the in-the-box profile tags anymore as they haven't seen love in a while, so I'll give you the QuestHelper equivalent to that!

With regards to not knowing how to log, even just posting the changes you made to the profile would help me identify the issue and fix it for future use, too. :)

Well all I changed on the profile was deleting the first 11 or 12 lines of text to the quest that I could accept and boom. Almost like magic.

Holy shit it worked.

Im guessing I can add Vendors and Repairs the same way? This could actually work for levelling as I have no interest playing the game but botting while I play Dota

Fancy making me a nice grinding template i could use and il smash out some profiles till i get bored.

Ah! If you end up recalling what that quest was, and your race, I likely know what the issue may be. ;)
