Questing Not Working?

Hi, I'm using some of the primary question profiles and the bot just sits in one area doing nothing. Is movement still broken?

Any ideas? Questing profile still not working for me.

Worked fine for me, post a full log so we can see what is going on.

Questing is working for me. Check your log to see what quest it's on, you're most likely in the wrong zone if it's not doing anything.

This is likely the issue you're running in to. If you see "No viable path" lines in your RB window/log file, you're probably in the wrong zone.

As mentioned by everyone else, posting a full log will help show where you're at in the profile, what quest you may be on, etc. so that we can figure out what zone you should be in.

Thanks will do so tonight. Just so I understand, do I need to manually change zones myself while using the questing profiles?

You shouldn't™ need to once you're back in the correct zone for the step you're on.

Thanks, this is my first time using the bot and I started in Limsa. Maybe I just needed to move it to the correct zone. Will try it again tonight.

Sounds good! If you have further issues, try to include a full log.

That may be your issue there. This profile is known to be buggy as hell on a pre existing character. It is going to try to start in the order its written. If you have done things out of order or are further down the line you may need to open the profile and find the main story line quest that you are on. Then try to prune out everything that exists prior to that you already completed by hand.

Im not sure exactly what the o/b syntax is but im sure theres some sort of /* */ annotation that would allow you to block comment out all quests up to the one you're doing. If they're not in the profile by name, and instead by quest ID, you can find your story quest's ID on FFXIVDB

^ This, pretty much.

I plan to go back (it's lower than other things on my priority list) and provide alternative 1-50 (or 15-50) questing profiles to the official pack because nothing makes me facepalm more than a bot train with everyone using the same profile.

doesnt move. I looked and I only have Beta 1... any ideas where to get beta 3 for the bot??

Manually complete Coming to Gridania and try the profile again.
