Questing not working properly

Hey guys,

Totally new to HB, and I've got an issue. I ran multiple BG's last night perfectly, but I'm having an issue with questing.

For some reason, my character just stops at the first quest zone for FF Ridge. I talked to Khadgar, went through the portal, grabbed the quest, and my character ran down the steps and stopped there. He doesn't move past that point.

It gets to that point and just stops. I loaded the profile for FF ridge from the folder, but this is as far as I got.

OK, I managed to get a little further using a custom frost DK routine, but not much.

As you can see, it's casting spells multiple times in a row. Not sure what the issue is there, either.

Ok, so I finally got this working properly. I had to choose a different DK routine to get it working.

I'll post back with any other difficulties...

two things. one-turn on the buddy control panel plugin. it will give you an overlay of what the bot is supposed to be doing. its not detailed, but it will tell you what step of the profile you are on.

two-while that says log, its not the log we need you to post on the forums. you will find instructions on where to find and how to upload your log in the instructions below.

and as always when troublshooting, you should pick singular as your default CR. like its motto says 'it just works'

Thanks for the info ;-) I'll post the right log next time.

By the way, whenever I load the control panel, it keeps telling me that the overlay is disabled because desktop composition is disabled, but it's actually not. I'm using Window'ed mode. Maybe that's why?

OK, I finally got this working as intended. Apparently, without Desktop composition enabled, it really is way too buggy and doesn't work properly. I enabled Desktop composition and all is well. Phew!

Now the overlay works properly and the questing seems to work flawlessly.
