Questing in MoP. Do you have to?

Was just wondering if i grind/bg all the way to 90 and dont do quests. Besides missing out on quest gear is there anything ill miss out on? Like i wont be able to do certain dailies for people or unlock certain things?

Youll miss the rep. Rep is needed for gear now

I can always do dailies and stuff for that though right? so technically i wont be missing anything i cant get, ill just be a little behind on rep?

You will be FAR behind on rep, thus some quest chains will need to be completed to even unlock dailies.

then why do people grind or bg to 90 if they cant even do the dailies?

because the people who grind/bg are using those chars to farm ore/herbs/cloth/leather

sucks looks like ill be questing then :\ i leveled my rogue to 89 through questing legit but decided i didnt like it and switched classes.

i really didnt want to quest again but looks like i have to. its ok tho im 89 when i have 90 at least i can fly and do my quests. better than nothing i suppose
