Having a need to level another couple of characters I set out to get them levelled as fast as possible via questing. Its been a great many months since I last used HB Questing (when it mostly worked) but based on my experience in the last couple of days I can think of many ways to describe it, but only a few of them are constructive. Disappointed, infuriated & problematic are a few words that come to mind.

After a fresh instllation of HB; cleared the WoW cache folder and off I go for yet another attempt. Issues yet again. So, not sure if this is a local issue I try another computer and sadly the same results!

I can't comment for questing in old world as my characters start from level 70. Since hitting Cata questing the problems have doubled, maybe even tripled, and as a result of this I'm giving up on questing!

So, what issues you may be asking?
1. Unable to pick up / turn in a quest after 5 attempts so it blacklists the quest giver. Oh my god how many times did I see this happen!
2. Quest window opens and is IMMEDIATELY closed.
3. Quest window opens and HB does not wait long enough before attempting to choose and options. I run ~200ms ping, this isn't excessively high.
4. Standing out of range from the quest giver. If the character would take just 1 more step forward they would be able to interact with it.
5. Trying to use quest items while still moving, resulting in it failing. Perfect examples the rift readings in Borean Tundra, A Prayer and a Wing in Hyjal, there were others but I don't recall the names/places.
6. The character would sometimes just ride around on a mount and not dismount to engage combat or pull mobs. Even when those mobs were within range or even currently attacking the player.


EDIT: I don't run any WoW addons, I have enabled and disabled all HB plugins. I have used different combat routines. I have used different computers.

Allow me to be your guide:

0.5. For high pop PvP servers Hyjal might be a massacre to watch.

1. When you reach Deepholm you'll have to mount up your character every 5 minutes because it won't do it by himself and HB keeps disabling it.
--Mostly you'll see him sitting in a corner of the map, afk, waiting for you to help him out. As soon as it mounts it flies off to the next quest.
---Sometimes happens for Uldum as well

1.5. The Boat quests should pretty much pop a warning telling you how stupid the bot is going to be because I swear it takes me three days to find motivation to do these quests manually on more than 1 account.

2. In Uldum, for the quests that are supposed to be underwater, the bot might go loco loco when trying to reach the quest givers which may or will result in a strong sensation of wanting to rip your balls off, toss them at the screen and then going away to eat something / smoke / do drugs in frustration.
--Also sometimes the asshole won't mount

3. Twilight works fine until you reach the zeppelin and the village on fire. Those two suck, then the rest works fine. Killing the Elite in the sky almost always fails and gets you stuck.


All in all, this thing is NOT AFKABLE AT ALL. It will work fine for 10 minutes, but as soon as you turn your back on it, BAM, stuck.
 
Edit the time before a quest is blacklisted or change the location the toon is in.

The issue is not with the location I'm in, its with HB quest bot. And when using a large questing profile such as Kick's you can't change the zone you're questing in that easily.

I have only just now started questing in Hyjal and the issues are 3-4 times worse. Questing through Northrend was bearable and it sometimes required interaction, but Cata is just unbearable.

I'm giving up on questing these characters and use an alternative method! This is not useable, it can't be AFK'd - hell, it can't be left for 10 minutes while I make my lunch!

When I'm extra lazy I just put them farming BGs all nite long with all the other bots and hope nobody is douchebaggy enough to report us :)

Anyway, how do you get them all at lvl 70?

Given how over populated and bag BG botting is its something I'm going to consider as a viable means of levelling.

Some of the characters are on accounts I've had for a very long time that has not been used in months, or even 2 years in 1 case.

Gotcha. Well, the options are slim, either BG farming, dungeon farming, grinding (but any of the cataclysm zones is risky) and gathering
 
I got serveral bugs on Questing too. I think the whole thing is just unuseable. I've also tried to change botbase/routines but my warrior get stuck each time a fight starts. It ends up with my char riding around and around not even starting a fight..
 
i literally level 2 out of 3 levels by gathering.
i have nice quiet gathering profiles that can run for 4-6 hour sessions all the way to pandaland.

but hyjal is one of the not so bad questing areas. i try to get to 82 in hyjal, with a little obsidian farming.

then use the bot to open up deepholme and start my heartblossom profile to 82 3/4 where i change to ele ore in uldum. you need to do a few quests here and there to open the zone and make sure your gear doesnt get too out of date. there are many profiles just for uldum, you can change every couple hours and bam, next thing you know you are ready for twilight.

use the bot to get to the zep tower. yeah, druids wont come out of flight form for shit. thanks for that btw. so you will have extra trouble with druids all the way to 90. farm twilight jasmine for quick xp all the way to 85

Not possible if you don't level as a gatherer.

I had this same problem for about 60% of the quests, it simply would not pick them up without me doing it. Would just stand there opening and closing.
 
i have just used kicks profile on a druid 1-90, at first i had issues with the bot not picking quests up and getting stuck but then i realised i had not put all the files in the correct folders, once i sorted that the only trouble i had was in deepholme for 2-3 quests which i ended up doing manually and at lvl 87 it would not pick a few quests up apart from that its ran fine.

The issues I've stated above have nothing to do with the profile, it is the questing botbase at fault.
 
do what I do, use a plugin to fix it all... also the pick/turnIn has been fixed, I have had issues with flight paths but only 1 specific flight master so far at a certain quest.. the problem is that I used addons for pickup and turnIn so you may have those enabled? best to disable all wow addons.

what class routine are you using for druid?
