Quest Problem - level 100

Hi,

got a problem with the quest http://www.wowhead.com/quest=9383/an-ambitious-plan , I need to do little dmg on a mob and after that use one quest item. My problem is that i am 100 and when i start attacking, it dies instantly so no chance of using quest item.

Can you help me please?

go and get a wepon from org and use that using a lower wepon will mean you wont 1 shot it
