[Quest][N] Zandalari warbringer mount farm - Pandaria

Hi

I tried out giovacco's Zandalari farming which is a gb2 profile that uses Rarekiller. Had some issues getting rarekiller to work properly, it would find the Warbringers but not kill them etc.
So I took the hotspot coordinates from giovaccos profile, and made it into a questing one. (Hope it's ok, as he haven't answered).

Tested it for a night, got all 3 mounts plus loads of reputation.

Start in pandaria with questbot. You must have the ability to fly in pandaria!

Just Dled.. trying it now. I as well had issues with Rarekiller. Will post back updates after its ran for a bit!

Also: Will this also look for and kill the scouts as well?
 
about 20 minutes in, So far its killed Two War-bringers and one Scout... Along with the Amber mount. Woot. Im in it for the rep tokens but the Mounts are a nice plus!

The scout seemed to spawn in the middle of the battle with a warbringer,, agroing into the fight.

Yes it also kills the scouts, can easely be removed if you want. But they also give rep :)

Edit: Provided they are not to far away from the hotspot path, sometimes they are and it will pass them.
 
Man Super Thumbs Up, its doing great. Ive sat here watching it now for 2 hours, and the profile is wonderful .... Now if i can get Singular to not use disengage and throw my toon off a mountain to death that would be great ! ;)

What level do you recommend for the profile? Would a lvl90 blood DK with ~520er gear work?
 
Recommended would be lvl 100. Only testet on lvl 100 retri pala ilvl 640.

Think soloing them at lvl 90 would be very hard. I believe at mop expansion it took 2-3 lvl 90 to kill it?

You can try, but doubt it will work very well.
 
I wouldn't attempt this profile with any toon with less than 590-600 ilvl gear to be honest. If you go back and look at all the comments on these guys on wowhead and such they were in fact soloable back in MoP, but ONLY if you had very high ilvl gear.

Agreed :) Proabely wait until lvl 100 ilvl 600 or it wont be very efficient.
 
Unfortunately I can't try this since Rarekiller is out of date and won't appear in the plugin list. Anything I got to do with it that you guys had fixed? Since it's working for you

get rarekiller BETA and follow the steps they provided and it will work. im running Rarekiller as we speak now.
 
testing this now
i went afk came back and i was dead... hunter lvl 100 ilvl 638... bot just ran n ran and refused to find my body... HB is a fresh install no plugins no other bot bases but standard
 
Hm try again and keep a look at it for a full run around the hotspots, must have been oposite faction that killed you, or else post your log.

People often camp at the spots, or even worse while your killing a Warbringer attacks you in last second before you kill it, and then steal your kill.

Hey guys,

Slightly confused, does this require rarekiller? It just mentions in the first post that rarekiller wasn't working, so I figured it was implemented into the quest profile somehow. Can't test it right now, so figured I would ask in advance. Thanks :)

I am on PVE server but ill send a log if it happens again
 
Gaaldornick, no it doesnt require rarekiller :)

Just go to pandaria and start the profile with quest bot :) Of course you need to be able to fly in pandaria.

It's not working for me, everytime it sees the mob, it just keeps on flying and not attacking, so it's doing the loop but keeps ignoring the mobs. Rarekiller is disabled. Any suggestions how to fix my problem?

Oxenus, try fresh install of honorbuddy without any plugins installed or enabled.

If it still does it, post log files :)
