I'm in no way an experienced botter, but i have browsed the forums and read through tons of information.
From what i understand quest botting is one of the more "safer" options. Some on the forums would say go 24/7 whilst others would recommend maybe 6 hours a day. Kick's profiles are extremely good and polished. Ive leveled two chars to 85 (battle chest account) within a few days botting sometimes 24/7 other days a few hours.
The only issue with kick's in my opinion (not the fault of the author) is that it can create what i like to call the "bot conga line" - this is where you see a line of botters obviously botting and doing the same quests. To regular players that obviously looks suspicious, not to mention to GMs/devs. Secondly, kick's profiles take you into contested areas, and on a pvp servers this causes loads of deaths if you're afk'ing 100%, getting killed 10 times and just ressing obviously raises a flag.
Botting overnight i have little experience on. Although as i've mentioned kick's profiles are very polished and good, one may always run into problems along the way (running into walls, being ganked, "botish" behaviour, running in loops etc). Such problems are especially dangerous when botting overnight as you have no control and are unaware of whats going on.
All-in-all since you've allready been warned i'd take it a bit easy. Quite a few people have gotten warnings, continued to bot, and then 5 days later a perma-ban. I think it all goes down to the question of: how valuable is the account to you? If its a simple burner battle chest and you're not lacking in real cash to buy another in-case you get banned then by all means bot 24/7. Personally i prefer a combination of botting using kicks's, a few dungs here and there and maybe an hour or so of manual play
Hope this helped
