Quest bot needs fixing -> Devs read!

Hey guys,

Questing botbase needs a little tweak.
ive ALWAYS had issues with it trying to "complete" a quest WAY to fast, or pick up a quest. it needs a 300-1000ms break or a better hook event as the one its working off now just completly fails.

you guys have it handing in and picking up quests WAY to fast to the point it just stands there for a good 5mins + trying.

PLEASE fix this asap, ( this isnt just me its happening to, its been happening to other people on MIRC also )

shouldnt need to, if they opened up honorbuddy source code they might relise that there missing a "sleepforlagduration" or something small when interacting with menu,

I.E handing in quests and picking up

I am having these troubles also, I have got my friends to check out there and same problem. My ms is about 700 atm because it is snowing, my friends is like 50 ms and it still haves trouble.

i can agree to this ONLY when i'm downloading and my latency go skyhigh but i'm nearly always under 200 and that problem doesn't happen.

Yep i still have this problem and have posted about this before. Have not been able to use the quest bot for more than a month now. My latency is usually between 270 and 350ms.

I believe everyone is working on SWTOR apart from Raphus because Apoc said HB currently is bug free. I agree this needs a fix asap.

My latency is around 75 to 100ms on both local and server ends. I normally see it stutter a bit when accepting/completing quests. But it always succeeded (in my experience) on the 2nd or 3rd attempt. It may be with higher/different latencies that this problem does exist, and if so it'd be good to put some sortof wait into it.

The thing is this never used to be an issue with latency around 300. Something has changed in the last couple of versions because my toons used to quest without any issues until earlier this year. PvP and instances work fine.

Small suggestion. How about a lag tolerance slider similar to the one in the wow clients interface settings. a test build with this option to see if it helps with people experiencing this problem. I'm going to buy a lowerping sub to see if it helps in any way.
