[Q][A+H] Harrison Jones - Master Relic Hunter *not supported*

*NO LONGER SUPPORTED* - as of the banwave today (12/16) I have decided to uninstall HB. I no longer believe botting to be worth it for me as a casual gamer these days.

Disclaimers:

  1. See issue below before posting
  2. You have to manually pick up the quest, or have Harrison Jones (or other quest giver) for profile to work
  3. These are designed to get you Harrison Jones the follower, not to do on repeat (though could be used that way)

If you still want to give it a go, here is what you need / recommend:
  1. Level 100, ilvl 630+ toon
  2. Level 3 Garrison
  3. Run using Questbot base
  4. Recommend you already have your Flight Path for FrostRidge / Darktide Roost / SMV
  5. To get quest you can:

  • Pick up the quest manually then run profile
  • Be in your Garrison and have Harrison Jones in your Garrison
  • Be IN someone Else's Garrison as long as they have Harrison Jones (right click portrait while in party/raid and select View Leader's Garrison)

Had close to over 1000 downloads, no major bugs reported, and very little +rep.
Please +Rep if you download (especially free content as it is increasingly rare), I spent a TON of time on this and +Rep takes 2 seconds.

General Notes:
  • Several reports of people having issues when using a Bodyguard/Follower. I highly recommend against using a Bodyguard for this or any questing profile.
  • There are several areas where it will ignore combat to prevent profile issues (i.e. lava and falling of ledges). This may result in deaths.
  • The manuals are not needed after the quest line and they will be deleted after turning in the quest
  • Many of the quests can not be done in a group, so it will leave party once starting the profile (still allows enough time to pick up quest from Jones)
  • Profile is designed to be able to start at any part of the quest, however, many areas bug, see this link if your quest is BUGGED
  • HBRelog Functionality is built in for those that modded to include HBRelogSkip. If you haven't that's fine, ignore the error message after quest completes

Notes on specific quest:
Melee with pounce/charge abilities can die in lava and possibly fall of cliff in part 3
The last part of the quest requires Raw Clefthoof Meat which is built in to farm
Also on the last part, the dragon hit hard and can cause deaths! (I did not build in Avoidance because most of my toons had no issue, some died though)

Stuck on or near trailer in part 2 if mob aggros while getting object (rare, should be fixed in 1.2)
Part 5 can rarely bug if ported to the highest edge of the mountain
Can be done faster if you have a water strider - simply search the profile for "strider" and replace crimson water strider with whichever you have (will work without strider)

May die when running from place to place as combat is set to off (the alternative was to fight a bunch of elite mobs, no thank you!)

Dodging the Skulls for part 5 can take 15-30 minutes... This can look a little bottish, but it took me almost as long to do it manually!

Horde must manually turn in quest, or change to TurnInId="78487" (fixed in next release)

There is a delay between killing the guys in each step, especially if many people are in the area. But working without error.

Added deleting journals on completion on all six quests.
Hearth to Garrison if not in Garrison when picking up/starting the profile
Added Noncompete to all Interactwith behaviors to speed up some of the object gathering in populated areas.
1.30 Complete support for Horde (Mailbox, vendor, quest pick up and turn in)
1.31 Added 5th part Quest Ids for Horde for all 6 quests (thanks Jaxxon for noticing/reporting)
Fixed final quest for dream of arugus, two possible NPC IDs!

These are general BUG notes for the quest line, NOT RELATED TO THE PROFILE

Bug Notes:
  • If you collect an item that should complete a quest, but the quest isn't shown as completed, log off and back on (just reloading won't work), click the quest in your quest log, and see if you can click "complete quest".
  • Leave at least one spot free in your quest log (i.e. 24 of 25), or a quest may become uncompletable going from one quest to the next.
  • You can not do these quests in a raid group; doing some steps in a raid group can make a quest uncompletable.
  • If a quest becomes uncompletable, you can return to your garrison, delete the quest, and re-accept the quest on that step of the quest chain from the book of Relic Hunting Notes on the ground next to Harrison Jones. All but the initial quest are also shareable from party members, if you are on the same step of the quest chain.

Wait so can this chain be done all at once? I ran this profile and it completed the first sub part (like the blessings of the beast or similar) then the bot turned off and I didn't see any more quests available.

Yes... You can see in the code, each part is done, from start to finish.

Remember only one quest is offered daily.
 
Single issue so far:

How are we supposed to get the daily off Party Leader's Garrison, when we leave the raid before taking the daily quest?

Point well made... Which is why I tried to make it clear that you have to be IN your party's Garrison.

Aw you removed it. Was just about to say this is a great profile. A few bugs here and there but awesome overall.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the feedback.... I will repost my updated one here in another few days. It has most if not all of the fixes.

I got some + feedback and I understand when the bot is swimming up in water it will continue to jump for a few seconds. I don't know how to stop this and also ensure he is at the top of the water.
 
hmm hha was readidn ur first post and said you took it down. so i started writing one. nvm now since its going to be back up XD

I have 10 alts to run the Harrison Jones quests - thank you so much!
 
yeah thanks so much, ive been running this on my toons

i wonder if it can tell if we've already completed that particular quest and not do it?
 
This is a great profile. Got it up and running for Horde characters with little effort, and the quests run smoothly from what I can tell so far.

Thank you, Thank you! I will re-release the almost perfect version once I get Artificer one more time... so far it has eluded me.
