Does this bot have frontline pvp? Wolves den barely have anyone queued....

It doesn't have Frontlines at the moment because the way the bot moves would be very obvious that you're a bot and you would get reported like mad. There's too many places in Frontlines where a human would jump off a cliff or jump over something where the bot would instead run around. Mastahg expressed interest in working on the navmesh for Frontlines eventually but I don't have a timetable on that, only 'eventually'.

I really hope they don't invest in pvp features...

When I bot in pve I'm not effecting anyone else's enjoyment of the game...

When you bot in pvp you destroy the pvp experience for other players.. I'm sorry but I think thats wrong and I don't think body bots should support pvp in anyway (except perhaps combat assist/combat routine)

Not to mention it brings way to much attention to botters, have you ever watched a rbg late at night ? Is 10v10 honorbuddy bots... With perhaps 1 poor bastard trying to enjoy him self..

So yes shame on you if you bot in pvp... That's my opinion.

The bot will do what it will do. We're not here for morals, we're here to make a bot that can do as many things as possible. if you're botting in PvE you're surely affecting the economy if you're farming shards or anything, and therefore affecting other players as well. There's really not much of a difference.

The bot will do what it will do. We're not here for morals, we're here to make a bot that can do as many things as possible. if you're botting in PvE you're surely affecting the economy if you're farming shards or anything, and therefore affecting other players as well. There's really not much of a difference.

There is a huge differance between dropping prices on a few things and making it impossible for someone to go do some PVP with a real human..

I don't believe there is. Buying/trading on the AH is clearly advantageous to those running bots. Also, most folks I know run PVP with their guilds, so there are ways around getting stuck with a botter.

But this is a botting forum... people want to automate everything. I am sure it will happen at some point.

I love pvp, but I hate grinding... In FFXIV, its all about grinding... the queue time is crazy long! frontline/wolf den wait time for dps is over 30mins! I play the game about 1-2hrs a day b/c of work/family/LIFE! At my rate I will never get any pvp gear. The reason why people resort to bot is because MMO make you grind like you don't have a life. Most of us want to enjoy the fresh air outside and come enjoy our time playing the game.

If you hate playing with bots, just join a alliance and queue up for frontline or queue up in 3-4 player matches. Free points if u get to fight bots!

To be honest though, if rebornbuddy is able to make a pvp bot that works good. It will attract a lot of people and make tons of money from all the people subscribing just for pvp bot.

I subscribe because its the only bot that claim to have pvp, which it was a big disappointment since it only works in wolves den and wolves den is a ghost town at the moment.

I'm still hopeful that reborn will come out with frontline soon. They do have one of the bests bot developers!

I don't know why you insist on being rude to every person who disagrees with you, but it's really quite disrespectful. He made a perfectly valid point about gathering items and selling them on the auction house directly affecting other players. He never mentioned anything to do with raids or dungeons, so I have absolutely no idea why you brought that up.

In that case, does someone running a PVP bot (which you are so opposed to) stop someone from doing raids or dungeons either? Of course not. In the end, the only way you're not going to affect another player's FFXIV experience with your botting is to not bot. Nearly everything you do will affect another player in some way or another because that's how MMOs are designed, they are meant to be interconnected between players. If you don't want to bother anyone, don't bot and play the game by hand, or play a single player console game where there's no one but yourself.

Let me spell it out for the kids..

Botting in PVE content only- Every one can keep on doing what ever they are doing- PVP players can enjoy competitive matches- with real players not stupid BOT AI. Raider can keep on doing there PVE content- Oh there ore might be a little cheaper.

Botting in PVP content- PVP players can not longer play against players (hence Player vs Player).

If your happy ruining another persons experience in PVP then go ahead- Might i add the PVPbots attract the worst attention and most likely chance of getting banned.

PVP Botting directly effects real players... I know of many top end PVP players in WOW, that left due to them unable to play any RBG due to the ammout of bots ruining the PVP game.

The game isn't WoW, so its very unrelated! NO ONE BOT IN ARENA in WoW (at least during my time "Wraith of the lich king"). People bot in BG to get starter pvp gear anyways so they can go pvp in arena. So did bot affect end game pvp arena in WOW? NOPE, because you can't get 2.4k rating from botting. To be honest, if there were bot in arena, I be glad because its free win against a bot! Bot only does 1 thing, CHARGE HEAD ON, which all the noob does in arena.

Also I didn't mind the people botting in BGS... it was those who AFK at the entrances that pisses people off (At least the bots runs around and do stuff!).

Also most if not all END GAME RAIDER, are BOTTERS or have someone farm all the mats for them. They gotta craft potions, food, etc... So if you asked me botting PVE effect other people, YES it does because for those who have to farm it by hands are getting their price undercut by all the botters! For example, I put my fire shard up for 100g per units, 24hrs later, I come back and check why it isn't sold yet to see other botters putting theirs up for 50-60g per units. It effects me because I lose so much profit, which I have to invest more of my times to go farm more mats! End game Raiders ALWAYS need food/potions buff, which require farmings (lots of farming). So botting in pve does affect the game WAY MORE. Beside if your botting in pve, its affecting me because I keep getting undercut. These botters are so impatience, they don't just undercut by 1g, they undercut by 25-50%! Making the values not even worth farming for anymore.

I know a lot of end game raiders quit because of the farming/grinding for mats be come too tedious and selling those mats didn't make good profit for the time they commit because of botters always undercutting them.

Everything we do have an cause and effect on others - the ripple effect (physics)

We know you dislike PvP botters which is fine - You don't have to ruin it for everyone...
Also just because you bot PVE does not make you a better person than someone who bots in PVP...
The whole reason we bot is because we don't want to commit hours of our time to grinding/doing chores in-game!

I love/enjoy pvp, botters have never stop me from pvping. Only reason it will stop people from PvPing is because they rage for losing and always blaming others but themselves. The world will be a lot better place if we stop blaming others for our flaws!

The only reason why WoW survive so long is because of all the botters! WoW would never hit 10million without botters because botters always have more than 1 account. Why do you think blizzard allowed bots to run in their game? Because 20-50% of blizzard populations are botters and they don't care, they banking from botters subscribing every month!

My bot account didn't get ban until I cancel my subscriptions which I bot for over 2years on that account farmings mats for end game...

It doesn't stop people from raiding just like a pvp bot wouldn't stop people from grouping and running a pvp group together. As I mentioned, random ques are definitely not the norm in FFXIV for pvp. That is not the way most people advance at all.

You botting gathering directly effects the economy. That means that a person without a bot needs to work harder to earn what he did before, legitimately. It might not efect the player in the same way, but it certainly does effect the player. Whether you can't or don't want to see that, I am not sure. I am constantly undercutting things like shards because I want a quick sale. It doesn't matter to me because running my bot for five hours gathering [insert item here] took me no more than two minutes to set up, from the point of loading the game, logging in, and running a script. Meanwhile the poor bastard who is manually gathering everything is stuck spending time NOT raiding and NOT pvping so that he may earn the gil he needs to enjoy those activities. If you seriously think people don;t get frustrated and leave the game because of a bad economy, well, you're simply wrong. Just like you have known people who left the game due to pvp bots, I have known people who left the game due to crappy economy and not having the time to gather/craft the things needed for daily play.

The bottom line is, our opinions differ. I absolutely will not feel ashamed, as you seem to feel I should, for wanting a pvp bot. Well, not any more than I feel ashamed botting anything else in the game. I certainly won't call your comment stupid though, simply because I don't agree with it. I am classier than that!

There are actually bots out there who already got that implemented and never read anything about getting banned or stuff.

Its not "only" PvP, its also a good Soldiery income. I think the develpment focus should not "only" be on the fate/order bot. They are working pretty good right now, how about expanding the PvPbot so you can draw more people into getting this.

My understanding is just the fact that a bot wouldn't look natural. There are a whole lot of things to jump over. It wouldn't look right "taking the tairs" everywhere you go.

It's my biggest gripe with coerthas. Running from the aetheryte, the bot always takes the stairs. Not a single real person would ever spend the time doing that. I can always tell who is likely a bot just by watching that crystal for about five minutes lol.

I don't think that's the only problem though, I thought the mesh supports single directions like walking off a cliff instead of the stairs :S

When I asked him about the stairs on Coerthas, that is the answer I got lol. I am just repeating what I was told.

My assumption was that we could tell it to do some unidirectional stuff, but apparently that isn;t the case.

I also imagine (but dn;t have any form of actual confirmation) that the pvp areas have not been meshed.
