PVP vs BGBot Beta?

You're saying how much they suck but like some other people, I have 9 85's all with all the 371 PVP gear. Some of my toons have the 371 gear for 2 specs. Some of my toons have all the PVP gear and PVE gear you can get from trading in honor points. One of my druids has farmed over 105k honor points since the new season started. There are a few problems here and there but overall it does a pretty good job. If you're having this many problems and others aren't then it's probably something you're doing wrong. I don't like the way my toons don't run down to the beach either but shit, I haven't had any whispers about it.

I got mine working again. I used Squire, and for some reason the 3rd time I looked it let me select different BGs. Still have its faults, but im sure every bot will.

It's honestly frustrating when the only reliable way to BG without cringing is to either LazyRaider or CombatBot and run the non-combat movement myself. The bot is good for many things (archeology, gathering, even looting with a good profile) but it honestly sucks when it comes to running BGs unattended. I have tried multiple ways (BG bot, PVP bot with W00ts profiles...) and I can't let them go a full BG without stopping them. They either wig out they do before EOTS and makes it plainfully obvious to anyone there that you are an out of control bot (I stop it before the bubble even pops), or they run into a wall, rock or something else AND KEEP RUNNING IN PLACE cause it's using CTM or they repeatedly do something stupid, like run towards a base when there is noone there other than 10 of the enemy (then die and repeat the same path).

I find it pretty good when I'm the one driving the non-combat movement... but to allow it to run totally automated beginning to end... I have tried about 15 different times while watching it - think I got to the end of the battleground without stopping it once. I don't know how anyone could walk away from it with any hope of not being banned. For those of you that have posted your success, it seriously makes me wonder what you've done differently cause you can't be using the stock system and not looking like a bot.

It's not a profile issue - it's a bot issue.

Well as much as I'd like the extra honor from doing randoms I never que for randoms, so basically I only que for bg's I trust [more than others]. Even then like you say, there are things that can/will happen that look bottish.

Anyone who actually believes that BG/pvpbot is a good bot right now is naive. Yes Im sure some of you are so pro that you have 50 sets of 371 gear on your 80 lvl 85s but thats out of pure luck or the fact that people didnt care enough to report you because this bot is painfully obvious and flawed in its logic in most bg situations currently. While it may have worked to get you gear that is no reason to love the bot....you should love your luck instead because that is the reason you have gear not the fact that the bot does a wonderful job at disguising it because it doesnt. Pvp needs to be fixed ASAP by the devs because it is currently by far the worst bot out of the selection and one of the most used.

Man they may not be perfect (far from) still you can AFK bot with them with not that much trouble, may of us have done it (me included) and never recived a ban or a suspension.
I got a 72 hour suspension using BGBot, when? when i get from level 68 to 85 by running BG bot 24/7 for 3 days during IoC weekend without one minut break.
Be smart, run 4 hour a day and no matter how much you will look stupid or botthis, the change are you will never get banned.
Yes, sometimes someone get banned sometimes, is the life, do not bot on an account you are not prepared to loose.
The point is, how much do you pretend from the bot?You want a bot that gives you honor? BGBot do it.
You want a bot that will look completely human and maybe play better than you? BGBot do not do this. never will.
12+ yers old kids play worst than the bot and this is all we need.
TL;DR: BGBot is a bot that do it's work, is not perfect but is the best out there

May be the best out there but its still not where it should be. I know the bot wont ever look completely human and be better at pvp than I am but it does not even try to hide the fact that its a bot. I mean the logic is ridiculous to say the least in half the bg maps and the other ones it just stands there and does nothing at a flag so that I get reported afk anyways. Im just saying these bots need work done to them because at the moment they do not even look conceivably human whatsoever.

I'm having issues with bot the BGBot and PvPBot. BGBot stands around ALOT, even with the squire plugin. I'm having the most issues with combat. It doesn't want to turn to face enemies. It just stands there and gets hit. It does it on my priest, lock, shaman, warrior, everything! Both bots, too...so it's not just the CC's I'm using.

Squire is for PVP bot not BG bot. Says that in the thread a few times. As far as I know combat is strictly a CC issue or user settings issue. If it was a HB issue then all CC's would have the same problems. Apsalar for rogues, EZRet for pallys and HazzDruid for resto druids are all amazing. Im sure there are other but those are 3 I use. I agree that they stand around a lot but that's what a normal person does guarding a flag. I don't like when they face the wrong way while standing near a flag, lik ein EOTS. All my toons will run up the hill towards the flag and have their back to the hill where people come ujp. That seems like a simple fix that would make a little difference.

I got the exact same problem, maybe someone could pickup the code for squire and make the bot target players and attack them, so that CC can take action

This is absurd. All of my toons seriously just stand there and start at people. They don't attack. It doesn't matter what CC I use. Both BGBot and PvP do it. This needs looked into. If he actually does attack somone, and they go behind him, he stands there. If they move out of range, he stands there saying "out of range" what the hell.

you guys must have something wrong with your set up , i run pvp bot with woots profiles and squire , i mainly queue for eots and AB as they seem safer imo . heal bot runs perfectly often get top healing done and thanks for healing in the chat i havent run it yet on any melee toons (unless healing) so cant comment there , but hunter and shaman run perfectly , i use fpswares stuff and ofc gilderoys pala healer .

too many people are running this ok for it to be a HB issue , i would think you are setting something up wrong

Both Bgbot and PvPbot are far from being perfect.
PvP bot just runs around like a monkey that is spaming ctm commands on random positions on the map. It just acts so plain stupid that after watching it for 2 minutes I cant stop myself from stoping it and go back to Questing...
BgBot is a bit better but just as if we had an extraordinary intelligent monkey playing my toon. It often refuses to even target enemies no matter wich class or cc i use. It runs into 10 allies gets its ass raped very hard and repeats this for about 5 times.

Besides PvP this bot does a good job and Im happy I can farm and quest with it relatively good with only small bugs...but its pvp part is just shit from the day I bought it.

But hey...perhaps you release another bot for Hello kitty Online or such...that might fix it.


Sry for me bitching around but its just frustrating to see that Hb has so many unresolved bugs and the buddy team releasing one after another bot while HBs bugs just presist for months though they have been reported long ago...and if there is an update its just some quickly done bugfixes that just aint what I am used to get from the team.
When i bought this bot it was updated and managed a lot better than it is now.

You mentioned EOTS - does it still bug out in the beginning until the bubble pops? I can't watch it do that while I'm near the computer and saw it posted that it's a HB issue, not PvP nor Bg bot issue.

Funny EOTS with Squire jumps down after the bubble pops and stays there, cant find path up so bugs out. Also bugs inside bubble and jumps around.


In all bgs, since last HB patch, it has hard time targetting anyone in BG, using PVP or BGbot

Ok, since the new HB came out SimpleFollow is preventing the bot from getting into combat. Alot of people are using Squire. Squire is only supported in 3 BGs, the rest it tries to follow a random played it sets focus on. (Squire+AutoPercision=Win!)

In EotS there is a bug on Ally side where it runs off the beginning rock and skips the little floating rock that helps prevent fall damage. After it lands it realizes it skipped a step on that rock and tries to get back up on it. The only way out of this is to stop/start the bot or die. I found a plugin that helps with that, its AutoPercision. when u get close to a hotspot, it loads the next hotspot and makes moves more human-like. When you jump off the rock, you get close enough to the hotspot that this plugin loads the next one and keeps going. I have only seen it get stuck on EotS once since install, but I think that was prob from Crusader Aura or something of that nature. If you like, here's the link. Only thing I recommend is to turn off for questing or archaeology because it tend to cut corners.
