PVP Suite?

It was removed for breaking the terms/rules of the forums.
 
Personally I think that you should be paid is HB wants to take on your profiles like a one off payment etc

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to repost the plug-in once you have a free version ready for distribution...
 
i understand where you're coming from. just wanna say that everyone would really appreciate it if the plugin stayed on here. anyways, best of luck with whatever u decide to do
 
I hope to see the DEV team implement most, if not all this logic within BGBuddy :) Then everyone's happy.
 
I think the HB team needs to think about how their development will continue in the future. Right now it feels like they can not keep up the pace to solve all problems. If you ask me, it's thanks to all the volunteer developers who create routines and profiles that this product is still alive and sold in large measure.
When Singular / BGBuddy is buggy, there are several options to choose from (CLU, Bobby53's shaman, fpswares cc's, tuanha's cc, etc.) and this PvP Suite and without them, I think HB team would have big problems with their customers complaining about selling stuff which hardly works sometimes.
You (HB Team) should perhaps encourage people who make these important additions in a different way, for example, recruit them or buy their creations instead of throwing them out. This might attract even more people to create routines and profiles, plugins, etc. and it makes the product better and better while you lighten your own shoulders from all the hard bug-fixing.

I think this would make HB a more complete product and at the same time you won't have people selling their creations "outside the box".

Just my opinion.
 
You can post another one if you want and you have all the options to do so. You will have to start a new topic and post a new attachment but there is nothing preventing you from doing that. The other one was removed because you did not post a free one in time. So to remove the complaints the thread was removed until a proper replacement could be brought in if you decided to do so. If you are ready to post the updated free one I can unlock your other thread and you can release it. It was just too long with a working donation version and no free update is all it was.

I understand where you are coming from with the wanting to be paid and I understand how big of a difference it makes. But I have also seen it destroy entire communities and ruin everything. It gets to the point where there is no community. But it also has a flip side, where it gets to a point where no one wants to do anything because its all free. Its a hard subject to work on. The Buddy team does provide help to plugin devs and cc devs if they deem that it is good enough and want to support it. Or if they feel its a good addition that needs to be added. If there is a lot of features here that everyone loves I am more then happy to try and get them implemented into the bot, or you can post it as a plugin for free and keep the donation part. The decision rests with you not with the team. If you want to PM me about more you are more then welcome to and I help out every way.

I did a ton of quests behaviors and CCs all for free and have been working with the team a long time before I became a dev, so I do know how you are feeling and what you are trying to convey.

what's wrong with a plugin that 90% of the people that are using it and really happy with it? you guys are still not got away with honorbuddy's test version at all, and still expect with the guy who's exceptionally contributing to your "millionsmaking" software to give it away so quickly? give him a break! we all have donated him to improve his contributions on his very own made plugin, and yet, you don't see any barriers banning his work... I don't really get what you guys are up to! you guys are selling us the "honorbuddy", then LET US HAVE OUR OWN PROFILE/PLUGIN WRITERS! MKAY?

We removed it because of the community not because we just came in and decided to randomly. Thats why it was just recently it got removed. Also we care a lot about profile and plugin writers more then you know and we work with them as much as possible. We dont just cut them off and say do everything for free and you get nothing. There is nothing preventing him from posting another version, it is HIS decision weither he wants to continue or not. If he decideds to we will support him every way we can, but if he requires it to be paid for then we will not provide support. His old system was fine with the donations. We were totally fine with that, its when he didnt post the free version even though it was updated for a while on the paid SVN that is where it started to get messy is all.

EDIT: So everyone knows, it was not the devs who requested it get taken down. It was your other community members. I harbor no hard feelings towards the buddy team or their moderators. Please do not blame them for the decision, it was all the complainers.. I am sure you will see them when the thread returns, but those are the people who had the final say.

The buddy team has been gracious enough to let me do my plugin and provide me help when needed. I do appreciate the fact that they have always been obliging to me. I will be posting a free version soon enough and Nat can unlock the OP and we can go from there.

I don't want to come off as an ass for bothering you Phelon but I am still waiting for SVN access. I have donated and sent you a PM with paypal transaction info as you requested and I still have not received the SVN info.

I know your busy with work, this plugin, and life in general but please when you get some free time I would really like to use your plugin with mop. I have sent another PM in case it was accidentally deleted (I know your probably get a lot of pm's and it is hard to keep organized.)

He should probably switch SVN locations. Login info was just posted over at OC, so if you didn't donate you can get the "paid" version currently.

I guess someone donated just to give it to everyone else.

Oh wow... that's rather scummy. I'm suddenly regretting my decision to put off donating in order to have (legit) access to the SVN! Sad to see a community kill something off like this.
