PVP or PVE botting

if i am planning on botting to sell gold does it matter which type of server im using?

I would reccomend a PVE server, you simply won't get ganked. Getting ganked can slow you down a LOT while leveling/harvesting

I can't say i'm the best person to ask about that but i manually leveled a mage and a pally together and their buffs, spells and play styles complimented eachother well.

But as a general rule of thumb(remember i'm not the best person to ask) would be a class with a pet and a class that has the ability to heal in a tight situation. Shaman Warlock maybe?

Me and my mate levelled up a loc and pala together back in the pre tbc and was all by hand, He would stand and take the kicking while I done the damage with my loc, He would heal us when we got into a spot of bothered.

I've always figured that while on a PVE server you obviously don't have to worry about being ganked, but the farming areas would end up being more populated leading to higher risk of detection combined with lower market prices for items due to the increased farming activity. Not to mention I'm sure PVP oriented servers probably have more of a market for certain items or materials. One example of this would be increased demand for enchant mats or gems due to multiple gear sets for PVP and PVE. That's just my way of thinking. I've been playing my main on a PVP server since around patch 1.3.
