Not enough options in poll. Grind (quest once it has more kinks worked out, its very close now already) until u can que for AV, and then do AV as much as you can. Also, on the BG weekends there is a TON more exp available if your faction wins reliably. There are already a couple of plugins/profiles that attempt to make PvP less bot like, so in the long run, PvP is probably the fastest. Overall though, I think a combo of all 3 is ideal, as it is the least botlike, u get quest rewards, gold, and honor.

Sort of brings up a good point, I'm wondering if it is actually a better idea to start as an Alliance Character if you notice that AV is going to be in the near future because, let's face it, there is a severe landscape disadvantage for the horde when it comes to AV. Then, assuming your intent was to have a level 80 horde, you could always faction change after the weekend. Has anyone used this strategy before or are there downsides to doing this that I am not seeing?

Excuses, its not about landscaping. AV is only different because its all about pve, not pvp. Alliance tend to do better in pve than pvp than the Horde counterparts, I've noticed in my server the alliance was faring better in pve than world pvp because the alliance side have three top pve guilds, they already did heroic RS10/25. While the horde side only done RS10 heroic but not 25 man. As you can see, horde leans forward to more pvp favored BGs such as WSG/AB/EoTS/SoTA, while the alliance wins in pve based BGs such as AV and Isle of Conquest. This is why I avoid pvp based BGs because the horde is more at advantage here than the alliance. So please don't complain about horde having disadvantages in AV, you're the one who is losing by using pvp gear to kill npcs.

Well no i've played on both sides; alliance have less distance to run to their final NPC and their final NPC has less health. That's pretty clearcut to me.

Anyway back on topic, Facemelter: I would make a level 1 character on alliance side and ask about AV wait times. I know when I did it, although alliance won most of the games the queue times probably evened out the xp p/h that I got. Alliance had to wait a long while, horde was mostly instant. But your server may be different so ask around before you spend money crossing over.

I Think the fastest would be a Questing / PvP Mixed Mode.

Vote for it ;)

InstanceBuddy all the way.

Second place is questing, I've had great luck with the new profiles.

yea pvp mostly on AV weekend.. but i got tired of my guy sitting at vendor trying to sell items that for quest items and just stand there for hours at a time..( questorder) so ive been going with Grinding and im rocking and rolling at level 79.. 80 in a few hours

I run my bots only on grinding, and pvp/grind in AB/AV weekends...
I havent had any quest profiles yet that i Didn't had to babysit.
So im still using the "old way" :P

Questing gets me a lot more XP/hr than grinding does. Also nice for the gear upgrades. But it also requires a lot of babysitting.

Although IB seems fast as well, it's impossible to tell which dungeons are safe to AFK.

Is BG bot afkable? Do you guys leave it running while sleeping or away?

BGbot should be fully afkable again now. I've started it before I went to bed, and have come back to shitloads of xp and honor :-)

Does PvP give more xp/h compared to questing?

(Btw, this weekend AV weekend, that will be insane xp for sure!)

Archeology from 60-85 with mixmode pvp..... maybe chance on getting rare weapons

Ive never leveled via PVP, Grinding is good, but I try to prevent doing it :P - How fast can you level from PVP, does the XP depend on winning, better then Arch?

The EXP from a lost BG is not worth much. Average about 40-50k, while a win gives about 220-230k on level 70-75, somewhere about that. Archaeology would give a steady EXP, while using BGBot really depends on how many people play at night without bots, and how much those people win or lose.

// Btw, I've always have gotten about 1.5 levels a night (12 at night until 6 in the morning) from using BGBot, and about the same from Archaeology. Might be luck, not sure.

use questing imo, grinding will take so much longer and needs upgrades via auctionhouse. PvP is not stable enough to get things going for a longer period of time. if you want to level good take questing, baby sit it from time to time and your good to go.
