PvP or BG bot [beta]

What are the difference in these bots. It looks like they both sign you up for bgs but what one should i choose. I couldn't search for a thread about them because the words are to small.
 
PvP Bot: uses a list of hotspots for each BG and randomly run to them.

BG Bot: mostly the same, except that it will always go to the hotspots with the most friendly players around it. It also have some BG-specific logic, allowing it to track and kill WSG flag carriers for example.
 
So will PvP bot soon be replaced by BG Bot? Are there any threads which i can read about them?
 
The PvP bot is the most stable one. The BG bot has been released since a few weeks/months, has a few bugs and need some improvements although it's really usable without looking like a dumb bot.

I'm running the BG bot on my holypal as a healbot. Looks great except when it tries to chase a flag carrier alone as a healer. Been botting on it for days and people don't care as I always end up in the healer top 3...
 
Is it me or are both bots very bad pvp. What i notice is the bot just runs to specific spot and stands there mounted....when your team gets in a fight he will remain mounted and just sit there or move to another spot...It never engages people unless it is engaged. Am i doing something wrong? It happens on all classes when i play mixed with grind profile.
 
There's a targeting enhancer plugin on this board, don't know if that would help a bit.

Yes you are definitely doing something wrong. Be sure to have "Attack Mounted Players" turned on.
 
yea i tried the combat helper but it just messes up my CC i think because it acts all retarded. i been noticing biggest issues especially with melee type class, all of my melee get owned bad. They just sit at flag.. battle begins..then run away or wait till attacked to do something, its rather annoying. i tried all types of CC and no difference. Right now im watching my bot sitting at flag while people are fighting and he then rode away not engaging anyone once. I put on mounted players..but he just doesnt target anyone unless attacked. any help would really be appreciated thanks
