Purchased a 1-day trial last night. 20 hours later, still can't use it

I was hoping to trial out Honorbuddy first by purchasing the 1 day trial. I purchased it last night and tried to log in with the key I was provided. at the "Honorbuddy login" screen when you run Honorbuddy.exe


I keep getting this error:

It says "Logging in..." and after about 60 seconds times out and says:

"Authentication failed!"

Help would be appreciated!

Only saw this suggestion:

Make sure that there is no space before or after your key,in other case you will receive an "Auth failed" error message


Double-checked and I have no spaces but still not working

if you still can't get in, check your firewall and make sure you let hb through

also make sure that you run hb as admin

add exceptions for Hb on your firewall and your antivirus

looks like something is blocking Hb
