So with my new 6 month ban on wow, it's time to come back to swtor. Mt question is just a quick look over the threads it looks dead, and has some issues. Is it worth buying? does it get the attention needed and updates? Is the public active?

6 month ban doesn't sound so bad. Rather stay at WoW. People are looking into other games since BuddyWing is unstable at the moment. Crashes + pauses in the rotation.

You lucked out with only a 6 month ban. I had two accounts permabanned with the PQR banwave. I haven't touched WoW since and don't plan to.

Buddywing is not Honorbuddy nor is it in the same state of development as Honorbuddy. SWTOR is a very difficult game engine to work with for the bot engine creators. In it's current state is a rotation bot and a mob grinding bot. You will have to re-write you own rotation profiles. Many users report frequent crashes. Questing and leveling profiles are broken. Space bot was completely removed.

I use it exclusively as a rotation bot. The bot has gotten better in terms of stability in the past few weeks.

6 month ban on wow too, buddywing is not honorbuddy at the moment more expensive and no work

apart from the crashes i think its ok if you want to use it as a rotation bot, my main issue is the fact there is no lifetime purchase available, you have to repurchase every 3 months for a Bot that doesn't work correctly. I have contacted the developers about this and they are not going to release a lifetime key, so as a value for money its severely lacking in value. I bought a 3 month key to test it out and have more downtime on the bot than uptime, so buying it is up you.
