Hey mates!

I've wondered this a while now actually.. How come our beloved forum aint set to private?
So that not everyone can just read all our post, just the members can that actually payed for a product here.

I mean, I'm a member on other sites where some 'risky' bussines is, and we/they dont want any other then thier actually payed
members/staff can both browse and read most of the post. This is just basicly to protect us/them self.
Sure they have had some moles, but I've seen these moles ben broth to justice by the staff, they're very effective to catch those somehow ;)

But.. Just wanted to know why this forum aint private?

If Bioware cared enough to read our forums, they'd certainly feel comfortable dropping $20 to read our forum.

The open forums was the only reason I ever bought Buddywing: I got to see what profiles existed and what the bot could/couldn't do.
 
Sure I get that, but I ment for the whole forum, not just for SWTOR-section.

Because we believe that you should be able to research the product you are going to buy thoroughly before spending the money.

I hate all the "secretiveness" of some sites, and asking for money before you can judge for yourself. It always feels so slimy and scaly. Usually have the urge to go shower and clean myself after visiting those LOL
Keep it open for all to read and share their opinions IMHO.

Saw the same mental attitude trying to happen in this community over the years as well, and succeeded to some extent in that there is now a small group of people that only shares profiles and plugins and combat routines between themselves, but we don't even need them anyway, so no great loss there.

A GREAT GREAT thank you to those great contributors that did not keep their work such as profiles, combat routines and plugins, secret and keeps sharing. Thank you!

just dont use your ingame name here since they're public, problem solved
