To Disable Streaming:

  • Open Battle.net
  • Click top left icon
  • Click Settings
  • Click Streaming
  • Uncheck Enable Streaming

I have a number of accounts, one of which I do very, very silly things on from time to time. I started honorbuddy before I went to bed on said account. I woke up to an error stating that my stream had ended unexpectedly and my character was logged out.

I do not stream, nor have I set it up. I also could have sworn I specifically disabled streaming too. Now, I don't think Blizz could force a stream without me having it enabled and logged in... but the error did make me question it enough to finally make my first post here.

I recommend disabling streaming and closing the Bnet client before you honorbuddy.

Maybe I just need to adjust my tin foil hat; but in any case now you know.

Oh wow, my streaming was enabled, too. Even though when it asked if I wanted it enabled I said no,

Thanks for the heads up, not sure it actually was streaming anything, but its good to know.

Defaulted On?

Every time I completely close Bnet and re-open, streaming is enabled again.

Did they make it default?

Is it because I'm swapping through different accounts?

Forget disabling it. Just make sure Bnet is closed before you HB.
