So I got hit. I am happy. Bought a new account. Playing for real. I do not believe in „do not buy, let them suffer”. That's stupid. I love this game. And if its clean, I'll love it even more, with all its shitty dailies and so on.
Yesterday, just before the banwave hit, WoW Proxy Browser started to show up in my task manager. I know what it's suppose to do. Yet, it fired for NO reason. Not only on my machine. I quickly asked some of my friends to check it out because I was running the bot at that moment and tripwire triggered.
All my friends that got banned, had WoW Proxy Browser in their task manager.
All my friends that did NOT got banned, had NO WoW Proxy Browser in their task manager.
Now, call me insane and call that coincidence, but for sure Blizzard scans my machine.
And we can not do anything legally about it. Everybody does: Google, Yahoo, Facebook, Blizzard, Google Ads, all news site and all sites that you accept cookies for.
It's the end of botting as we know it. HB team has a LOT of work to do.
