Hello Dear Forumers,
Im new here and recently started to use HB.
Everyday i browse the forums of HB,I see a close community that are helping eachother out.Since there are people using autologins and other third party software to assist them in controlling their bot,I came to the conclusion people are still unaware how vurnable they are against hackers,keyloggers/spyware,virus etc.
So i decided to provide you with a guide to assist you in the best Protection for you're Wow accounts and other privacy related stuff.
Im going to talk about:
-Authenticator
-antivirus/antispyware
-Browser's
-Monthly cleaning of Hard drive
-tips
authenticator!
I'll presume we all know what it does but i explain it anyway.
Its a a little device used to put an extra protective layer on youre WoW account.
You just link the Authenticator to youre account,then everytime when you need
login youre authenticator will give a 6 digit code that you need to put in.
Voila!fter those 6 digits the authenticator gave you,youre logged in.
This is a really nice feature because the authenticator generates a 6 digit code that you can only use with youre account.
Even if they have youre pass and login they cant enter because they need to have authenticator code that you only have in youre possesion.
Authenticating can also be done by Phone. Andriod,apple os, and alot other are supported. Click here for Mobile Authenticator

Since we are all using the internet connection,third party software,unsigned plugins,browsing, we are in need of a good program that protects us from the ''bad''.
Im using AVG Free In combination with Malware Antibytes For years now.
I never got a infected system i keep them both up to date,and scan each month.
We can talk about False positives,and wich is the best to use but what i want to point out is,that A good antivirus program needs to suit youre profile of using the internetz.
If you are an normal internet user for lets say just forum,msn,and gaming then AVG free is a good solution for you.
Several free Program's

-Microsoft Security essentials
-Comodo antivirus
and much more.
browsing and how to setup
Most users here are using their browser a couple of times a day,for their favorite mmo site,news,prono,HB forum.
Most of the sites are Secured.
I use Firefox 5.0 in combination with Noscript addon and Adblock addon.
These features Help you to be protected from unwanted scripts to be installed on youre computer lets say a keylogger.
Adblock removes most annoying adds and also protects you from malicious adds that sometimes can be infected also.
All Browsers got an option to forget the history,coockie cache,etc after you close it after a browser session. I suggest using it.
I only got experience with IE and Firefox,IE had alot of bugs and security holes in the past,thats why i started using firefox.
Im using Firefox for 4 years now and im really happy with its safety features.
monthly cleaning of hard drive
''Cleaning" As in remove unwanted data like cookies,temporarily files,unused programs,
and scanning the whole system for virus/spyware.
Do not forget to scan the whole system with youre antivirus/spyware program.
I cant really say much more,this is an important thing to do to keep you safe.
Ofcourse every week cleaning is suggested.
We got several programs at our disposal like the windows build in clean harddrive option.
The build in windows cleaning harddrive option isnt really suggested because of the limited options but it will do the job.
You can execute the built in cleaner by rightclicking the harddrive icon >properties>general then hit the drive cleaning button. thats it.

The program is free and has auto update feature and cleaning option.
CCleaner Also has a option to remove startup programs,fix registrey errors and remove unwated programs. Simple small and the best user friendly interface! get it !
Microsoft auto update: Just turn this on keeps the system up to date and fixes bugs like security holes.
Tips!!
An up-to-date system that gets monthly scans,cleaning and updates with a proper surfing browser such as firefox is A MUST HAVE!
If you followed the guide having an authenticator + good updated antivirus,the protection of youre WoW accounts is really good almost non hackable.
Btw Dont use a program like Autologin for controlling youre wow bots,where you need to insert youre wow username+password.
Only use well appriciated signed plugins for youre bots common sense FOR THE WIN!
