Apologies if this has already been asked, but is there a way to set protected items based on item quality: common, uncommon, rare etc?
Or is there a way to disable bot item selling completely, so that lootfilter/automaton can manage my bags?

It kinda sucks to realize days afterward that your bot has been vendor-selling books of glyph mastery and random epics.

Or maybe someone has a really comprehensive Protected items list that they can link or share?

Jeez, I sure am needy, ain't I?

Thanks for any help in advance.

it's profile based for sell / mail items based on quality. if you want items based on id (and name so you can easily add / delete), then it's in the protected items .xml in hb (hb shipped).

GB2 Mails my hammer pick even when it should be protected, any reson why?

The Hammer Pick (item 40892) is indeed covered by the Honorbuddy-shipped Protected Items.xml.

I confirmed with Hawker about six weeks ago that GB2 is supposed to use the same protection processing mechanisms as Honorbuddy. E.g., it uses the Protected Items.xml file instead of the old Gatherbuddy1 "put the item in your backpack" rule.

I'd do two things...
1) Make sure the Hammer Pick that is getting mailed is indeed Item #40892 (you may have to load a WoW addon to confirm this--Auctioneer is an example of something that can show item IDs in tooltips)
2) Verify that the following line is in your <HB_install_dir>/Protected Items.xml file.
For me, its on line 1121...
HTML:
  <Item Name="Hammer Pick" Entry="40892" />

If both of these are true for you, I'd submit a Bugtracker (and attach your Protected Items.xml, and log as proof that its getting mailed).

cheers,

Will try to replicate the problem tomorrow as i get home from work, i added a protected item list in the profile copying the pick from my protecteditems.xml did this yesterday, and after that it didnt mail the pick, it might have been a glitch when it did mail it, a wow problem maybe, so i will try to replicate it with a normal GB2 profile without a protected item list in the profile.
if more people had this problem i would read more complains here i guess.

About bug tracker, do i login with my forumpass/username or chop? or do i have to register on a third site? :D
