Prospecable Epic Gem Soonish..?

Hello guys, I just wanna hear your toughts about this.. Ive been waiting for this to happen.. keeping all my pyrite (got 2 bank with 4 guild tab each full of pyrite) and waiting for a patch, that is gonna allow us to receive epic gem from prospecing pyrite. Am I being dumb..? or does any of you actually thinks this might happen anytime soon..

What are your toughts about this, anyone of you heard rumors or got any prediction ?

For my part, I think epic gem are gonna be prospecable off of pyrite, and that the patch is coming within 3 weeks..

Now, what do YOU think.. :)

4.3 arrived a while ago and no you can't prospect epic gems from pyrite.
 
I'm gonna say that i dont think it is.
Blizzard wanted epic gems to not be so easy to get.

I think i read somewhere Ghostcrawler saying that they would not become available
But i could be very wrong on this one.

In general, they probably should.. So much Pyrite going unused on servers because of this ^^

Im asking if you think Epic gem are going to be prospectable from pyrite in the future, I know they are not right now..
So I guess your prediction is: they will never be ?

I dont mind keeping my pyrite ores in my gb.
I'm sure they will allow epic prospecting but not yet.
Atleast it feels so :)
 
I highly doubt epic gems will ever come out of pyrite. The last major content patch, 4.3, has allready hit and it hasn't happened. Sorry, nope.
 
If they ever do, supply will be overwhelming and I dont think you'll make any more than you currently are on rare gems, as price will fall so quickly.

Pyrite is still pretty expensive on my server, so I just smelt it into bars and make belt buckles then proceed to sell these for 400g a pop.
 
I think the reason it hasn't happened yet, is because like you said, 4.3 just it about 1 month and a half ago, introducing the epic gem for the first time in cata. I think it would have been too easy for evryone, if from the start, they would have implanted this. Dont you think in a near future, like 2month or 3 after the release of 4.3, that they could change that..? since for a while only real raiders could loot these, now it would be the time to balance things out for casual too, for what's left before MoP.
 
There will be epic gems from transmutes, for sure. Maybe they'll stop at that, this expansion.
 
No there wont be.

Blizzard has said in a blue post that they want epic gems to feel just that, epic and rare so they will only drop in your bags from raid bosses and they said it will take about 6months to get gems for all your gear.
