When im using a VPN to hide my ip so it looks like someone took my account if i get banned for botting. How do i use it? Do i turn it on after i login or before? I feel like if i do it before it will log a different ip everytime and eventually lock the account, If i do it after i login i feel like it doesn't do anything. Any ideas?

use the vpn while your botting, and once you get banned basically switch the VPN off and write a ticket saying you got hacked

ok so i did that and then got my account locked and needed a password change...anyone have any clue on how i do this the right way?

Yeah they locked it cause they must of flagged your account for an Ip way outside your region. You will probably have to call them up to get it unlocked and changed.

at this moment use vpn is useless. most of antihack and antibot solutions use hardware ID.
almost everything in your computer have such ID:
- hard drive
- motherboard
- video-card

antibot programmer just choose wich one (or all possible) detect.
and when you switch you IP, wow warden or any other software always can detect you by hardware ID.

its only your fantasies because you dont work in blizzard. just rumors. using different vpn countries really protect botfarm.

While I know that using a VPN has helped people getting their accounts back, who have been banned in the past.
I have to agree that what camelot10 is saying could be true and is already in place presently?

I recently took one of my laptops on a trip, far into a different region (16hours far) and used a hardline local ISP, and I didn't have a single locked/email/query.

My accounts were logged off during the flight and maybe a total of 30 hours before I started them up.
So I believe there could also be a time checking mechanism in place.
If you suddenly (YES a couple of hours is suddenly) jump from US -> Europe.
I would assume you are more likely to get flagged?

I have no proof but Blizzard could realistically be using "timer" and "hardware ID" checker along with the already known about IP checker.

yes. keyword - could. if you use many bots - more 12, minimum you must use different providers to split your farm. better to use vpn from different countries.

if you suddenly change ip from us to eu - robot (not gm) block your account in case of security check. you must change your password and all work again fine.

guys. right now im working in online mmo company.
its easy like hell to detect botters and good sellers by hard drive id.
we dont even waste time on IP checks.

VPN won't help you much tbh. I got banned and i was using VPN and they didn't unban my accounts, cuz they "knew" it was me who did it!

i tell if you use LARGE botfarm you dont lose all your bots by using VPN from different countries. thats all! just SPLIT your farm!

what Madmaximka is saying if you have 12 account, split those account on group of 3 = 4groups and those groups set up using different VPN, so if Group1 get banned group2,3,4 are safe

Yes, I agree completely if you are botting multiple accounts split them as much as you can ISP's / VPN's even PC's.

I use 3 different PC's various forms of connectivity.

Ultimately no matter how you decide to "hide" your botting, if you are stupid about it and bot like bot... YOU WILL GET BUSTED.

Bot like a "human" or bot a "throw-away" account on a seperate PC/VPN/ISP to best protect your main account.
