Unless you get really unlucky, does almost everyone recoup at least the cost of the game before they get banned?

I'm thinking about buying multiple copies, I have the computer power, I just want to make sure I can at least break even, worst case scenario.

Is there a guide somewhere to running multiple d3's? Just use VMware and g2g?
 
first 2 weeks wasnt too good for profit, but now i make about 10euro a day off one bot paragon 100
 
5e per day minimum. (excluding lucky drops)
however you gotta bot smart
 
I would say wait for patch1.7 before start multibot, they will probably send ban wave on around next patch... Maybe not but since we didnt get a ban wave since 2months ...
 
We've had a nice stretch of ban free botting. I have a feeling bliz was motivated to mass ban in dec to inflate sales numbers. They know we'll just start up again and with the boxing day prices they got a nice boost on their quarterly sales. Theory I know but I see it benefiting them greatly to play the numbers like that.

Having this stretch of ban free time behind us makes me apprehensive about starting up a new batch but honestly if you get enough time to get a bot to paragon 60 or so it'll recoup the d3 key cost at the least. The last 2 I started found one item that covered the db and d3 keys.

For me Its buying new DB licences that hurt. That big cost up front sucks but after that you have lifetime access and D3 is going to be active for 10 years or more.
 
For Eu at least, latest patch will be the last word of this game, at least till new x pac or release of some MAJOR PvP content, PoE has finished off this game which was already sinking for quite some time, gold practically isnt selling, items too. Only thing which left is to sell everything on gah and then this gold to chineese, but
they already are paying like 7 cents per mill.
 
I make 30$ a day from 3 bots after bliz cut. how can you not get your money back.

How did you come to that figure with such a random drop system in the game.

It could be weeks before you get a drop worth more than $20.00

Prolly same method as usuall, he got 3 items worth 20$ -30$ each in 3 days - "i earn 30$ daily"
 
Made a whooping 1.32 EUR in the past week only by selling a small amount of gold. 4 bots, 1 is plvl100.
Just in late January everything was more or less fine, but now i guess the last remaining people (those who were willing to spend money in EU RMAH) left this dead game.
It's so dead that i'm not even sure 1.0.7 would be able to revive it for more than a week or two.
 
Can't say about EU but for US yes I'm definitely at the very least recouping my losses. In fact this time around I haven't been banned on 3 accs for over 3 months so far and I got some lucky drops so I'm making 30 $ daily off only 3 accounts (in b4 people call bullshit) . DEFINITELY still worth it, I can pay for so many things with this side income. In terms of multiple bots, I started out using VMware but it was really laggy and crashed a lot for me. Now I just use a multi-d3 launcher (you can find one on these forums, launches as many D3 instances as you want) and run them all on my main computer. I'm still able to easily browse/game or watch something while the bots are running.

Thats funny, when price of the 40-50M is about 5e. So i think that u farm almost 2M per hour ? thats pretty impresive. Or u just counting it by RMAH 1M price without taxes.
 
I make about $50 / 2 days with 4 bots. That is an average. But I have a secret method that ensures I make that much money every day. It is less dependent on luck.

So you're saying with 4 bots you make 50 dollars every other day? (25$ per day)
or Every day?
You seem to not be sure of your own statement when you say "I make about 50$ /2 days, but I have a secret method that ensures I make that much money every day"...?
 
I stopped botting d3 recently, Nothing has value(Apart from the 2b items, Although im pretty sure euro millions has better odds).

my last spout of botting was 3 bots for 24/7 for about a month, And got no 'amazing' drops. Makes me wonder how people actually farm my hand in this game without going mad. But i guess gold at 0.12$/m shows that it has drove everyone away alrede :>.
 
Right now I'm making roughly 50-100 per day, per 5 bots. I'll keep my "methods" to myself =P. It takes me roughly 6-7 days to cover the initial investment of botting (sometimes sooner).

so do i, but i'm making quiet more with also 5 bots, sometimes 6. about 75-125 per day. It's pretty cool but i think thats still not enough :P.
