Blackrock Stronghold Heavy Junkbox Farming

Hey there!

I recently made a new profile off of some research i did trying to find a good place to farm heavy junkboxes for Ravenholdt rep. I was having issues with something in the code of the profile keeping me from getting the bot to pickpocket but have since fixed it. I'm still testing it out but hopefully some of you will try and use this too. If you have any suggestions on changing the bot please tell me and i'll edit it.

The profile requires you to be in burning steppes by the Blackrock stronghold. It uses the Grind Bot base for the profile. And you must have Pickpocket only: Always, Pull: Stealth, Pickpocket: Always, Stealth: Always, Stealth distance: 15 set in your Rogue CC. Also i use FPSware Rogue for the CC which you can get by going here

Also on another note, i did this as alliance and had to set the vendor and mailbox to The Iron Summit in Searing Gorge because there is no mailbox in Burning Steppes. At least not that i could find...

Re-did the whole hotspot list because I felt like it was getting too close to the large packs of mobs and figured further away would be better.

BAH!! now im having an issue where it gets WAY WAY too close to the targets for pickpocket...i even have the extra range glyph...ugh

Tested the area without the bot running and i think it has good potential because ive looted over 40 in under an hour!

If i can get it to work correctly it should be 30+ just due to the mass amount of mobs to pickpocket from. But currently im having a slight issue getting it to work as correctly as i'd like it to. Which is why I'm looking for help

In my mind not possible here... I tried to pickpock here by hand and my 85 rouge gets aggro as they are to close... Think the bot is also not able to do it

Edit: pickpocket all mobs and got only 3 boxes. In my mind not worth, the are too low in lvl

You must not have done it right then

Because if you have the pickpocket glyph and u sap the sergeants when they pat too close to you and you pickpocket each and every mob in the large square packs you should get more than 3. Granted it is all % chance and nothing is static with drop chances. But the mobs are 57-59 which fits the heavy junkbox drop type because the Isle of Quel'Danas Greengill Coast profile has you pickpocket lvl 60 neutral mobs. Which honestly the only difference between making this work properly.

Yes i see your point. My problem was i got sometimes aggro from mobs you have market as "avoid this". Sometimes i walked inside the group in a mob. Problem is there is really no space there betwenn this NPCs. I think the dropchance is going higher on lvl 60 mobs (not sure). Thats why the queldanas place is the best: they ar neutral and lvl 60=max drop chance and no way to get aggro.

Maybe it was only a "no chance situation" i really pickpocket all of these 3 "groups" and got only 3 boxes

The probleme i think are the "avoid" mobs, as they walkr arround the group. If bot would get aggro, the whole group will get pulled. I dont think that the bot is able to walk in this smale space beetwen the lines of mobs.
I respect your work, you are more skilled than me, i was not able to create an own profil, you did it. I only think this place is not "botable". Its like if you are going to open an egg with a sledge. I hope you see what i mean^^

HB is not able to do it so smooth as it would be need to do this at this place.

I know exactly what you mean, sadly you are right about it most likely being a non botable place. If there was a way to make the bot just get within the max rang of the target to pickpocket instead of right on top of the target then it would work way way more. Also there is actually 4 square packs of mobs one just happens to be hidden away behind a hill lol. I suppose this just may be one of those manual areas you'd have to farm but who wants to do that!! This is a botting community after all ^_^

I just figured i could at least give it a shot and try to tap the community for their suggestions. Oh well!! On to my next idea ;P

Hey ysosrs this was a great idea thanks for pointing this out. I'm not sure if you have played around with this anymore but I wanted to let you know I've created my own profile for this its currently running if when I get home from work and its still running I will post it but I just wanted to say thanks for pointing out this area I will be adding you as credit for the idea
