Problems with Targeting mobs

I am currently having an issue where in the coerthas central highlands on my mechinist where he will target multiple mobs and end up getting himself killed.

Ps he doesnt do it all the time and im not quite sure the criteria for when he does do it.

What CR are you using? It might be a problem with using AoE's on a single target which is close enough to aggro other mobs. I don't think the Machinist routine has been ironed out yet on most CR's, so you may need to manually disable the AoE spells within the routine if that is the cause.

Was also getting something similar on Arcanist profile (level 17). I've switched to Single Target mode and that seems to be helping.
