Its been an on and off problem for me for at least a week or 2. and it hasnt seemed to matter what release it is, i get a popup error:
then i use the ignore error and attempt to contonue option, and the start, settings, load profile, and enhanced mode buttons are grayed out

using windows xp so 32bit is only option, as well as diretx 9 up to date and i ran the buddyprerequisitewizard thing and have had my .net frameworks and visual C++ as well as re-downloading honorbuddy.
