prob with starting bot after win8 update

hi all,

i'm using my bot now for a little while but after i upgraded to win 8 i got the following prob.

i hope someone can help me out.

Think he ment OS as in operating system. D is close to S.

tought it but wasn't sure of it

but still i got the same prob, think my win8 is up to date, did that program and runned it as admin and still having the same prob
even re-installed hb again and again and again...

still without result, i really don't know what's happening... :(
 
wich version should i take, cause i read a lot of stuff here on the forum :)
 
if i try to install any Microsoft .net framework, it says that i already have it... so i guess that isn't the prob either

most likely is an OS failure
 
Look in windows update history and see what kb update it was. Uninstall that update, restart your computer and see what happens.
 
i tried to google it but no positive results for a solution...
 
yeah it's a win8 pro upgrade bought in a computer store :-)
 
tried it with disabling my anti-virus, still no result. nothing seems to work...
 
is your OS updated


tried a new Hb installation from scratch?


are you trying to run Hb from a usb stick or something?
 
my os is updated, tried to reinstall hb from dll the zip file on and i'm running it from my normal ssd hard disk
 
I have not been able to get HB running on Winhate i mean Win8 either. I built a new special box with XP just for HB and wow because of this. im very happy with my decision to build a dedicated box, but would love to tinker with HB on my main machine as well. if you figure it out, please let us know!
 
Feel free to correct me but I thought windows 8 ran pretty much the same as windows 7 under the hood.

Maybe try install HB from scratch in a new directory and try run it in compatible mode, if your UAC is active on windows try disable that too.
