In a way i think this is a success story.
Last night i had 40k to sell pusada was not buying and no way am i selling for $1.5/k.
So i went on my plain boring vanilla a/c and spammed in SW that I had gold to sell within a minute I had 3 /2 messages telling me to go f??k myself well words to that affect 1 saying reported but one /w asking how much so after a lenghthy conversation we agreed on 120 euro for 40k
Now this was my first private sell so was very cautious I asked for money to be paid into my paypal and made sure the char was lvl 80 and in a well respected guild on my server (I no this cuts my options down finding clients but to me it seems safer). Anyway we agreed to meet in SW bank I checked for the money in paypal and it was there so traded with him after a few hours of me fearing a chargeback we were still talking about all sorts and the money nearly 24 hours later is still happily in my paypal a/c.
Now a few things I think helped with the sale it terms of not being scammed (please share other's).
1-only trade with high lvl char's, genuine players are more likely to buy on them and + they will fear being reported if they scam you.
2-use a completely new a/c and delete the char after trade.
3-talk to them about rl stuff but also tell them about yourself also people wil be more happy to do buisness if they feel you are a nice genuine bloke/lady

Just thought I would share my experiences with you all if anyone else has story's re: private selling them please share them in this thread.
