Primary account is ok, 2nd account is baned

I sent a scroll to my 2nd account that is tied to the same email as my main. I had it lvl by mining from 80-85. didn't train any skills, spec or upgrade gear. One night i left it on for 20+ hours and let i bot through out the night. day later it got banned. My main account i normally bot on is fine. thought it would be useful information for people to know that even if accounts are used by the same email, not all the accounts will get banned.

another interesting note, i canceled the subscription to the account no more than 5 hours ago. When an account is banned you cant normally log in, so it just happened less than 3-4 hours ago. Crazy...

I had something similar happen to my 'scroll' account. I already had one account that i bot on, never on my main account. I've been blotting for months on my second account..it has a few lvl 85's and never had any issues. I don't bot that often maybe 6-10 hours a week on that account. I sent a scroll to a friends account and created a druid and got him to lvl 85 by questing and few instances. I maxed out his mining and herbing. I was botting herbs for about 2-3 hours a day and got banned after the 5th day. I think they are watching these accounts closely....i see lots of 80's right now with wolk herbing and minding in uldumn. I notice that they disappear after a few days of farming as well. I'm not really sure why i got flagged...i didn't have any auctions going nor was i botting for more than a few hours a day. I got my account back but i'm hanging low now, gearing him up a bit, BG and working on another trade skill.

I was wondering what happens when one account is banned when other accounts are tied to the same BNet account via the same email. Very good to know!

I wonder if your account was banned for: 1) 20+ hours of botting, 2) no trained skills, 3) no used talent points, 4) no upgraded gear, or some combination of these 4.
