Price of gold server dependent

I get that the price of gold is server dependent, but I also assume it's roughly the same with only a slight variation across all servers? What type of server in terms of population do you think it's best for botting and selling on?

I have my first gatherer on a fairly low horde population, about 4.5k people according to the wow census and I'm about to make another but wonder if I'd be better of doing it on a higher population server. I guess that the higher the population, the higher the demand for gold and mats, but also the higher the number of bots about and a greater chance of being discovered/banned?

Any thoughts? Do you spread yourself across numerous servers or stick to the same one?

There can be a huge difference in the price things sell for on the AH from server to server and between factions.
In regards to your questions...What are your goals...do you plan to farm for your own use or are you wanting to sell gold? If you are just wanting to get some extra gold for your own personal use then I would stay with the server/faction where you want to spend that gold. Its tougher to transfer gold from server to server or cross faction
