Preventing party invites?

I have a throw away account I'm testing honor buddy with. Leaving it running overnight, I found that my hunter had been invited to a party that was then converted to a raid... meaning all kills for the "questing" I was doing turned out to be worth nothing. I would guess someone was playing a trick on me

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

check under plugins section for a plugin that does it or if iam right there are wow addons for that as well
