Power Saving / ARelog Holiday for 2 weeks

Hey guys,

I'm off to India for 2 weeks starting Monday.

My plan is to leave my Inscription/Shuffler online for the 2 weeks using ARelog etc.

Obviously no1 will be home so all my electric will be off other than a socket for my computer (saving some good $$ there)

My computer currently uses when running wow around 70-100 Watts (with screen off) good start eh

basically running that profile 24/7 is going to be a bit intense on starlight inks on the AH so my plan is to somehow make bot run for 2 hours off for 3 or something like that is it possible with ARelog to do that?


Also what power saving tips can you recommend I currently use the following:

/console maxfps 8
all unneeded processes killed
screen off
usb's off
wow running 762x600 or whatever the one below 800x600 is (dosent seem to make much difference to CPU or RAM)
Sound ingame = OFF completely
Windows power setttings = Power Save.

I recommend also having a remote desktop application like team viewer or just built in Remote Desktop to make sure your bots running.
If its not then its just burning power you are not utilizing.
I would recommend following this guide here, not exactly tho but take into account the starting and stopping of arelog Guide
You can also stop arelog with a batch file like taskkill /f /IM arelog.exe
I usually setup arelog to start at 12:01am, run task for lets say 18 hours, idle or quit (using taskkill batch file on a windows schedule) and then another windows schedule at 12:01am to start again. Forming a loop with breaks.
