Potion settings

Can someone confirm whether Trinity automatically uses special potions from the inventory (such as Kulle-Aid), or if a setting needs to be enabled first? Also, where is the setting for protected bag slots so the bot won't stash it away during town runs? I saw the setting once, but can't seem to locate it again. Thank you in advance for your time!
