Post the best excuse you can come up with to your guildmates as to why you're not gonna be logging on the game for the next 6-12-24 months. :D
 
Unless you want to return to the guild in matter of hours or few days, its best to stay silent. Then after a week say something around trip/work out of town for 1-2 extra weeks.

When you are back after 3 weeks, you would found your account stolen, so you cannot login again. Of course, since it was not registered under your real name, you were not able to restore it, and need to restart.

But if you want to keep the battle.net, the story could be different.

Like you received offer you cannot refuse to sell your precious wow account/character, and you x-ferred it/sold it etc.

Or use better imagination, than mine ;)
 
When i played bfor and lost my main acc first time, my excuse was it was hacked, and blizzard cant restore it etc. No idea if guildmates believe, but i was invited to the guild and boosted in SOO in some runs. Ban was happen in late MOP.

I offhand mentioned in vent yesterday that I wasn't going to able to make the raid tonight because of military work drama. They won't question because it's normal. Then my account will get hacked sometime in the next week. And should I lose my second account then I think I'll probably deploy. :D
 
this is why i dont raid or make friends in wow. i make friends in mediums where I'm not subjected to ignorance, censorship, judgement, and control

I just tell them exactly what happened because we are all adults. The other people in my guild that got bans told everyone also.

Not necessarily.

My guild knows that I have a penchant for alts and that I try to ensure I have one of every class at max level. I do some classes legit and other I might bot.

Not all of us are doing crazy things with HB! I have a second account that is clean and I am leveling by hand and playing by hand.

This is also my first suspension ever so not doing bad considering I have been around for a while.

If Blizzard allowed you to buy max characters once you had 1 or 2 level 110's on your account then I would just do that.

i've thought about this, i've just joined a Guild i was happy with. i can start a new character on a new account and say my other account was hacked, but after a few weeks they are going to wonder why i'm not on my 865 prot pally and why i'm playing my lvl 20 prot pally...

i've decided to start anew. new server, new friends.

forever alone.
 
Why not just say it was your bro's account that he has decided to play again after a prolonged break. He transfered to a better (busier, quieter, whatever) server. You get to play in a good guild and continue to have fun with good people.
Good guilds are hard enough to find at the best of times.
 
Tell them something mind blowing like "My Grandfather won the nobel prize in chemistry and i have to acompany him on his trips and speeches now, for the next few months". I think they will believe you but if not just use that awesome photoshop skills of someone you know and fake some evidence. Just use your imagination, let it be something fantastic though!
 
Ha my guild knew I was botting, I straight up told them, they don't care, cuz they know good players don't take very long to recoupe from something like this. Ill have a lvl 110 in a matter of hours, and my guildies are alrdy rdy to run me through mythics to gear e up once again. no worries here!
 
We need more threads like this, fed up with reading all the kids whining about losing their accounts / HB being down.
 
I GOT ONE undetected. It is always a sales pitch word to make you feel safe and secure. Hoooook Lineeee Andddd Sinkerrrrrrrrrrrrr.............
