So I use to live stream my (nonbot) gaming on twitch.tv, but was sad when XSplit took away the ability to do private streams. Now I use Open Broadcaster Software (Free) to stream and that ability has returned. Private streams require a password to connect to the stream and offer a chat channel which I believe there is an API for use in other programs/apps.
What I am wondering is if we cant setup a plugin that will accept commands from the stream chat, that way I can watch my stream on my phone from anywhere real time, and I can just chat in my private channel to issue commands.
I'm sure there are some con's to this but its late and I can't think of any. Anyone know if someone's thought of this? I know twitch dosent care, i've had admins come into private streams when I am streaming games in closed beta against NDA/TOS so my friends can see, and they don't really care, so I am sure someone streaming themselves gathering wow or leveling wouldnt look out of place at all, even if it is botting.
