Possible to Appeal Bans Nowadays?

Just got banned after 5 years of botting for the first time. Is it possible to appeal bans nowadays? Or do I have to wait?

depends on the type of ban really...

Abuse of Economy bans, yeah, you can try and appeal.

Caught for 3rd party automation, you probably won't have much luck.

Caught in a banwave, you'll have absolutely zero chance of appealing.

Yeah, probably the easiest ban to appeal is for economy bans. Funny, considering they do the most damage to blizzard.

just want to share my experience, i got banned 2 weeks ago from botting and it was permanent. I didnt do anything regarding that action and then boom, the next 4days i got an email from blizzard said that it was an error and they unbanned me. THEY FREAKIN UNBANNED A PERMABANNED account

Happened to me too. I left the bot on ONE NIGHT to help grind my main to 110. Two days later I was banned and I was like fuck it I'll quit. Had a feeling they would unban me as it happened before and lo and behold 4 days later I was unbanned LOL. I never got an e-mail though.
