Possible mass banning in progress

Myself and 2 friends I know all got our bot accounts banned this week. I had 1 account, first friend 1 account, 2nd friend 3 accounts. All perma banned no warning. All botting Archeology, but one friend was using it for a few more things.

I've seen a few of posts related to being banned while doing Archaeology in the last couple of weeks. This may just be a coincidence, but what other information do you have on your botting activity? Any other scripts/farms? How much time did you spend online and how much of that was AFK?

3 people being banned is not mass banning, not even close. Put your report of the bans in the correct section though. This isn't the appropriate place for reports like this.

On topic, I agree with the original poster. Got an indeterminate number of accounts (more than 5 and less than 20) banned doing archeology.

(yeah, I'm that paranoid and do not want to tell the exact amount of accounts as that would instantly mark my accounts as offenders, as if there were any doubt)

12 hours a day per account, 2 activities per account (arch and dungeon levelling), 2 or more chars per account. Not more than 2 hours on without a break.

Accounts were not raffed, were on the same PC and IP. All of them were banned at the exact same time.

If anyone needs more info for investigation purposes, just ask. I don't feel like posting in the ban reports forum to get a few upcount answers that weren't asked for. Or people saying idiotic things without the slightest idea trying to teach people their mistakes.

yes there is something going on with archaeology.i lost 12 this week,ppl i know lost something like 20 all of the farmers were in archaeology.

ye, archi mass ban wave, both EU and US, multiple reports. it was good while it lasted though

too early to tell, blizzard save up for big bans... not enough people being banned at the moment.
