remove dark d3 filter - this may not apply to all but seems to have helped in my case.. other conflicting programs can be found here
after a few days the bot started acting up again(I had done a full reinstall and everything cleared up).. during login I noticed screen tears and heavy cpu usage spikes during db login though the db process itself hadn't increased at all and nothing actually showed up except the percentage spike(I have a high end pc so I found this disheartening).. before when I'd get the GreyMagic error I'd just close db and relaunch it a few times and it'd seem to fix itself.. when I noticed the screen tears I got to thinking.. turned off darker d3 effects and BAM.. db is working great now.. this may not be the solution for all or any.. I just thought I'd share in case it helps another fellow player
