Positronic - A More Human Routine​

The debut CR from TheBrodieMan Productions, Positronic is an ever-evolving CR that will attempt to mimic a more humanistic behavior instead of pushing the boundaries for inhuman actions. Positronic utilizes asyncronous logic trees, keeping tabs on multiple targets, ignoring spells it doesn't need to cast, and prioritizing those that it should, and targets that should be.

Blood, Unholy and Frost Specs available!
Multiple Single targer and AoE rotations based on talent choices (user-defined quantity of targets on AoE, derived from Icy-Veins and Noxxic)
Spell Interruption (user-defined to target damage, healing or all spells, monitoring all nearby targets)
-- Secondary source interrupt monitoring - times interrupts at random interval, and monitors target for premature spell termination!

Sounds nice. I'm just getting back on HB, so looking for somegood routines for my DK both spec, Blood and Frost. Atm I'm only lvl 60. But if you need a helping hand, I'm interested. I know the job very well with or without HB to assist :)

Hi again,

Just turned on your beta test as Unholy DK to starters. I've played 3 mins and her it allready gives some issues. Her is following:

1. Disable Auto Pull/casting when are near a target, example when you go i for making a mark on a mob specific, and you get to close to the mob it will just automatic engage. (This part I as player like to control manual).

2. When engaged to a singel or multiple mobs I can't move, feels like it runs twoards the enemy and just keeps hitting it. I as player like the option to move around if needed, due to AoE, or if loosing to much HP, so I can run out and emergency get som HP back, then go back to the fight with in a few seconds, wich also would be natrual. If this is on and doing dungeon party or raides, I belive I wil get the boot pretty fast when not able to move out from AoE.

3. As far as dmg wise goes, it seems to do pretty decent atm. ONly fighting random elite mobs in areas, trying to pull more to see what happends etc..

4. And Dark Arbiter and Army Of Dead should be optional if Auto or manual. And I like that on manual, sense it is so random when and how you use them.

5. The opner not sure what you set there, but my talent tree is different from the icy-veines (atleast some of them).

I like to open on Unholy spec with following:

Outbreak > Dark Transformation > Epidemic x3, filler with Death And Decay for runics > Feastering Strikes x2 > Scourge Strike > Death Coil > and if low on HP, filler will be using Death Strike.... Basic my routines, sense I'm often pulling more then one single mob. Latest log is put in your group on Discord!


My current Unholy talent is following:

57: Epidemic
58: Castigator
60: Sludge Belcher
75: Corpse Shield
90: Shadow Infusion
100: Dark Arbiter

1) Movement control is going to be optional. I haven't re-added that in yet, but it will be customizable so that it will NOT move the character unless you do so (which means you'll need to do the moving). As far as "auto pull/casting", do you mean pulling targetst that are unintended? That might be coming from your botbase, as my targeting choices are only those that have aggro'd to us.

2) Movement control, yes. Options coming soon on that, the GUI just needs to be rebuilt from an earlier version. I will be also adding in a hotkey specific to movement control so you can disable it on the fly.

4) Those will be tied to the "burst" or "cooldown" mode hotkeys. Right now they are just on "do it and do it now!" (except Army, which I don't think I coded in YET). If burst/cooldown mode is on, it will burn them. Dark Arbiter is currently set up so that when it has less than 15 seconds left on cooldown, it will start to stock pile runic power. Once we hit 95+ (at least 3 casts) or 70+ with a sudden doom, it will cast Dark Arbiter, and spam Death Coil as a priority spell until the arbiter dies/leaves.

5) Opening spells for Unholy right now are Outbreak, Death Coil and Death Grip. It is not (yet) coded to use Scourge Strike if you have talented it to a ranged spell, and if i remember right Epidemic only affects poisoned mobs anyways.
As far as an opener for DPS goes (single target), it will attempt to get Outbreak on the mob to get diseases started. Then, Dark Trans if its up, Festering Strike if we have less than 5 stacks on the mob, and Scourge Strike as filler. Death Coil will cast if arbiter is on cooldown to replenish Dark Transformation, and to make sure we don't cap on RP. Death Coil will also cast if it has Sudden Doom, but its about to expire (so its not wasted if we're stocking). Epidemic is not currently coded for Single Target dps since its mainly AOE (and is not efficient for its cost) and DnD is not in single target rotations for the same reason. Both of those spells are in the AOE rotation, but is currently fixed at 3+ targets (this will be user defined once the GUI is up). Also, Death Strike is not in (yet) as I wanted to tie it in with Dark Succor, and forgot to add into the rotations. Easy add though.

Hi again, thanks for the reply and explanation.

1. Well I understand what you saying, but still if getting to close to a mob, or going to mark one, and infor range it pulls it. I use Enyo 95% of times, I make sure and doubble check so it dosen't have a auto puller enabled. (get back on this later today).

4. I notice, it spams alot of Death Coil, but doing less Death And Decays, any reason for that, tought DnD also was a filler on runics?

5. As opner, gotcha ya, but I would suggest to remover Death Grip, as a player, this is alos something I like to do manual, so I'm not accidential pulling the wrong mob :D When it comes to Epedemic, I understand that it is set to AoE, and value 3, even tough I would set a value of 2 (2 mobs). And correct me if mistaken, tought when casting Outbreak we create a poison to wich spreed out to mobs, and therefor using Epedemic, for boosting more HP/sec, correct me if wrong, not certain on this spell?

But if you can make a faster fix on the targeting, moving around, and put Scourge in as filler aswell, I will try it out in dundgeons. :) /cheers

Is this still in development?

Sounds very interesting to me.

I'm still doing updates but they've grown smaller and more "bug fixes" than much else at the moment. Hope to be able to expand more in the near future.
