Poor VMWare performance

This issue I am having isn't so much a demonbuddy feature that isn't working as much as it is me looking for VMWare tweaks. I am running VMWare Workstation 9 with one install of D3. I am aware of the guide for VMWare in the guides section, but that one doesn't really pertain to what I need since it's mostly a "How to save HD space VMWare" instruction how to. My issue is I have a VMWare with 24 GB, with D3 and Demonbuddy installed inside. I can play D3 on max graphics settings just fine with no hiccups, but the moment I turn on Demonbuddy it brings the system to a crawl. My bot can barely walk 5 feet in game without massive stuttering. I allocated 3GB to the VM guest, and my host PC is pretty beefy (specs below). I noticed however that it only has a single processor dedicated to it although I think that may be intentional, I can't seem to change it. I didn't attach a demonbuddy log because it doesn't show anything out of the ordinary, the bot is actually running without errors, just very choppy. Has anyone experienced this, or know of ways to tweak the performance? I had hoped to run 5-6 VMWares but as of right now it looks like I can barely run one. I have the exact same setup on 3 PCs and they are all running fine, it's just the VMWare one that's choppy.

Specs:
i5 2500k processor, OC 4.2Ghz
16 GB DDR3
Win 7 64 bit
120G SSD
MSI Radeon 6870 twin frozr II

Ok it looks like I found the solution. You have to set the D3 process to high priority, and this resolves the stuttering.
