Poll: How many appeals to get unbanned

Thought I would put up a poll to help understand Blizzards unbanning a little better. It has been my experience that unbanning can occur, but sometimes it takes multiple attempts. Let us know how many appeals it took to unban you, or if your account remained banned. Please only vote for the first time an account is banned.

Its not true.... I appeled 3 times and got my unbann. First I was honest.... 2nd I was agresive and nothing... And 3rd I refuse it and made a story about my account has been used by my brother and they down perma to 72 hs....

My main bot acc was banned twice. I needed to appeal once each time to get a 72 instead.

I told them the honest truth.. I was botting to spend more time with my girlfriend because she was on the verge of leaving me, she ended up leaving me for my brother. I was suicidal and on medication and therapy thanks to the wonderful help and advice my guild gave me and I can't imagine where I'd be without them.. I got a ban appeal approved 72h I'm not botting anymore that's for sure.

So far it is looking like 2 out of 3 bans are appealed. My buddy that got perma banned on his first offense is going to be pissed lol

How can they detect third party software when in fact I haven't even used my bot in months? I appealed saying how I was legitimately farming for only an hour on end and then would do arenas or lfr or dailies and they said "After a thorough final review of the action taken against this license, we have arrived at the same conclusion. The action will not be reversed or changed under any circumstances." This is such BS!

Two bans successfully overturned after one appeal each over two or three months, then banned a third time with multiple appeals still no success

Has anyone here successfully appealed a third ban on the same account and license?

2nd ban, First time I appealed demanding they re instate my account because I had been a 7yr player on that account (2yrs ago) and they re-instated it. Got another one last night and bitched them out, they said no. bitched them out again, they changed it to a 72hr ban. I'm going to appeal again today.

I just appealed a third time, I hadn't botted in quite some time. I found out this morning that my brother had been botting on my second account in my main battle net. I laid it out and was straight with them. Hoping they reconsider. I actually just play now. The thrill of botting wore off like a year ago. lol.

I would venture a guess that they have instituted some sort of new watchdog. even the top botters got nailed. Way to coincidental.

Im waiting on my appeal on my main that hasn't had a bot on it in the many years I have played, half my bot accounts are perfectly fine tho... this is bs.

Appealed twice, denied twice. I will probably wait a few months and then try again.

Most people who successfully appeal the first time, it has been their only infraction. I have a suspension from three months ago, which I assume is why I am being rejected. Perhaps after some time they may be more lenient.
