How much do you guys make weekly from botting and selling the items?


personally i run 2 instances on inferno with MP1 and averaging 20 USD per week just from the gold and about 100usd from items on average. Most items being 5-10$ but i occasionally find very valuable ones that i can sell for 100-250 USD, like yesterday i got a str vitality Mempo of twilight. sold for 170 usd

Im running 3 acc, i make around 20-25$ when im lucky. and thats for all 3 accs. if i could just make 20$ each acc i would be more than happy.

I sell items for gold, EU RMAH looks dead. At least for me, lol.

Botting on 1 account, if I take my total amount earned so far and divide by the number of weeks I've botted, it would come out to be around $95/week. But I know there were weeks where I made close to nothing and weeks where I made $300+, its impossible to give even a range of how much you consistently make per week because this shit is all luck.

Item needs to be worth at least $10 to deserve an rmah slot imo. Gold auction house is ideal for items <20mil or >500mil.

I completely agree..also what boosts my income is Sniping items for 20 kk - 100 kk that are worth their gold value in euros (doesnt happen very often but at least 2-3 times a week i find items like that) Takes some time but if you are botting just 1 account like me i guess time is not an issue

PS: is the US market more profitable or just my imagination? :O

With mid-terms around and finals coming up, I haven't been making or testing profiles and I've made about $90 in 1 weeks time trying to scramble to come up with my internet bill $$. You can definitely make good money from diablo 3 and botting if you treat it like a business and do everything at lowest possible cost to you and maximizing your profits by selling anything that you know can sell on RMAH (I've had 5 items go from $1.25 bid to $15-$40+, so RMAH is definitely a bidders market for me as anytime I put a buyout, it never gets bought-out).

I run 4 accounts, 2 WD's and 2 WW barbs - all @ mp3 - 2-6 dph across the board. Though, my WD's are my fastest clearers seeing as how w/ 30% soj + 250%+ crit hit damage + 90k buffed dps = 300k+ hits on elites so stuff dies super fast and with 3% ls on top of the damage you see the WD doesn't take that many potions for upkeep. It took me 2 months to gear all 4 bots up well enough to fly through mp3, I'm guessing if I were to total all earnings up I'll have been making ~150-200 usd/week on average.

In total I've only made around $76.00...which I'm ok with as it's paid for my game. Until recently I used the bot to farm gear for myself and didn't sell shit, just vendor trashed it. Recently I've started botting for money and it's not going all that great. I have some decent gear I think is worth selling on the RMAH but it doesn't sell...maybe I'm over estimating item worth?

Im currently trying to sell some gloves for like buyout $30 that are

140+ Dex
76 All Res
40+ Fire res
9% AS
8.5 CC

trifecta worth nothing as no one has bought them with the last 2 postings? These gloves should fire off the AH imho?

Trifecta implies it has Crit hit Damage, Crit hit and IAS - without all 3 of those, the worth of gloves go down a lot. I found a pair that had no main stats, but gave 9% ias, 33% crit hit damage and 9.5% crit w/ 78 all res and those sold for 50m almost instantly. Those gloves would sell if you posted them for a bid of 150-200k and let them sit for the day and a half. Alternatively, you could just post them on the RMAH for $2.00 starting bid and see where they end up - try to wait til the weekends to post RMAH stuff though.

Most people use only 1 bot, then when something good drops, they sell it for gold instead of using rmah. They put the item in AH for 40% less gold than the lowest price, after that they sell the gold in RMAH for 8 cents less, and after that, they come here and whine that they only make 20$ per week.
