Pokestop Errors since update - Getting items failed. Trying again.

In the latest version I keep getting the constant error messages when my bot tries to hit the same pokestop repeatedly, every 2-3 seconds.

I know others have been reporting the same issue.

I am concerned that this unusual behavior will cause bans.

Is there a fix?
 
Only happened to me on soft-ban, and the bot have always managed to unban after 40 odd failed attempts. Try using a location that isn't too far away from your last or just let it sit the unban if that is the problem.

Oh, I always close the bot when it starts happening. You mean I should just let it play out?...

EDIT: I tried letting it run out, and it doesn't stop, just keeps spamming my log. Also, I setup a new account, tried that, and within 30 seconds it started re-hitting the same pokestop agian and failing, so I don't think its soft-ban related.

Same here! Also tried to change the location to the place where I am and still does tha same :(
 
No! After some minutes the error will disappear and the bot will move on having no troubles. Trust me

How long? Because I've tried leaving it hitting the same pokestop for 10 mins, and still I get:

After maybe 300 spins, I don't believe that is going to work...

That's what I'm doing for now, until the pokeballs run out... :(
 
Just out of interest, are any of you running on virtual machines, by any chance?

I carried out an interesting test. I only have a macbook pro laptop, so I installed boot camp, and created a second partition for windows. I also installed VirtualBox, and setup a virtual machine for windows.

I installed the same copy of Windows 10 Pro on both the bootcamp partition, and the virtualbox virtual machine.

I installed the same copy of PokeFarmer (1.89) under both copies of Windows.

So, technically, I am running the same software, on the same OS, on the same hardware, right?...

When it runs on the Windows virtual machine I just keep hitting the same pokestops again and again and getting the "failed. Trying again" errors, but when it runs on Windows native under bootcamp it works fine!?

If you are getting these errors, and you are running in a virtual machine, try running it native on a Windows OS and see if that fixes the proplem...
