Pokemon Go Christmas event

The Christmas event is said to be starting on December 20th with the traditional event stuff (More pokemon, more eggs, etc.). I've heard rumors of possible legendaries (and even heard a mention of mewtwo). Although that part is not confirmed I don't believe.

I don't have much experience or knowledge of how Pokefarmer interacts with PoGo. So my question is, how much do these events change PoGo? If Pokefarmer does come back up before this event, is it likely that the event update will be a big enough change to put Pokefarmer out for awhile?

Before someone else give you any BS answer, I will take a shot at this, and my answer is Nobody knows, not even Niantic.

Pokefarmer interacts perfectly with PoGo, it emulates a client like a real person playing the game(automated). But only on a human-like setting. Some people bot from US for an hour, then travel to China in 5 minutes, then london in 30 minutes, some people will set their movement to motorcycle speed and bot for 24 hours 7 days a week, then they will post here and spread false rumor about ban wave, when it's only their accounts that are getting banned.

To answer the other question, many things need to happen first:

1. API .47 needs to be hacked
2. API .47 needs to integrate safely with PF
3. Niantic needs to issue their update.

If any of these three doesn't happen, then nobody will know. Ask the question again once all these are all satisfied. But right now, let's think about crossing the river once we get there. It's still hundreds of miles away. Right now, there is a mountain as big and tall as Himalayas right in front of us.

As for putting out PF for a while, the developers will not have the answer, API 35 to 37 didn't really disable PF, .39 did. Updates from .39 to .45 didn't put out PF either, .47 did. So who knows what will change in the update?

Niantic doesn't know either, they don't know the capabilities of the REs, .39 and .47 are supposed to stop the bots from working already, but I don't think so.

Good answer. To give a shorter answer... It worked great and seamless for the Halloween event. Luckily things came together in time to catch a few days worth of bot'ting for that event I think I went from low 30 to mid 31 in just those two days which was a surprise.

I guess you can say the timing would be a Christmas miracle if the devs get it up before the upcoming event. It sounds like they need to re-do everything they found last time they updated the API. In either case this is with no doubt the best bot you are going to find.

Thanks guys! Sounds like there might've been some progress so that's exciting. But I definitely agree that this is the best bot available. Any down time has been worth it. Thanks again for the info

It depends on how late you update pokefarmer.
The event at the moment is not safe.
It is only said that on December 7th there will be a good update.

the christmas event is in my opinion correct , the legendary pokemons should be available at the event , even possible that gen2 wil be available , swapping pokemons will be available in february

that is what i heared but what you heared is most of the time a lie , so everybody have to wait to see what happens , but a little bit speculation isalways fun

• Trainers will be able to transfer multiple Pokémon at a time to Professor Willow. To use this function, press and hold on a Pokémon.

If this Christmas event were to happen, would it be advantageous to save everything captured and save the evolving between now and then in case they have the doubling again?

I'd say so. It definitely won't hurt to wait, so I'd say it's worth the shot
